NFL Football DFS Advice

Winners and Losers from NFL DFS Week 7

WINNERS:

Ja’Marr Chase-

Is 8 catches for 130 yards and 2 touchdowns good? The Bengal’s offense looks to be back in a grove after a shaky start to the season. Are the Falcons a good team? Not really, but putting up those numbers against an NFL secondary is hard for anyone. Chase’s only problem now is consistency, but it looks like Cincinnati is back on track. Chase will always be expensive going forward this year, i would play him on inter division battles.

Juju Smith Schuster-

A 30-yard TD towards the end of the game bolstered Smith’s stat line, but a 7-124-1 on 8 target line is an excellent day for any player. Juju needed some time to get into this Kansas City offense and it seems like it has paid off. If your’e worried about Smith not getting touches in KC, don’t be- Juju had the third most targets between catches and touches in this game, and he still put up elite numbers. The price setters will continue to under value Juju this year, take them up on it.

Dallas Defense-

We don’t talk about defenses a ton in DFS, but this Dallas defense is the best in the league. Am I a little bias here? Sure, but I also know what I see. Think about it this way, Dallas had the best defense last year also, and through 7 weeks they had 14 turnovers and 12 sacks. Through the same time this year, they have 2 less turnovers but twice as many sacks. The front eight for Dallas might be the best in football, and somehow Dallas’s secondary might be more impressive. Dallas can be started against anyone

LOSERS:

Lamar Jackson-

120 passing yards and 60 rushing yards for Jackson would be bad against Dallas, but against Cleveland? Yikes… Jackson has now gone four weeks without scoring more than 17 points in fantasy after a crazy good start. Jackson will always be listed high on DFS sites, but he isn’t consistent enough to buy week in and out yet.

Mark Andrews-

Andrews rushed once for 2 yards. I’m not super concerned about him going forward just because of how dominant he is compared to the rest of the receivers in Baltimore, but this might be a game to keep an eye on going forward. If Jackson can’t pick it up, Andrews is going to suffer just as much. Again, I like Andrews moving forward, even with his high listings, but be cautious on Baltimore matchups cause another stat line like this would kill any DFS play.
