It is all playoffs from here on out. The Covid season gave us a weird overlap where the Calgary Flames and Vancouver Canucks still have to finish games but we will not be reporting on those. Today’s matchup is the Boston Bruins vs the Washington Capitals. Washington ended the season with a better record so they will have home ice advantage. Boston looks to be a little healthier and have found a new chemistry with Taylor Hall on their second line. These teams have had beef in the past and it will be hotly contested. This should go to six or seven games and will be worth watching as much as you can possibly handle.

Here’s a bear-y good lineup For DFS Hockey 5/15/21 (using DraftKings Values)

CaptainB. Marchand$15,000

FlexT. Hall$8,200

FlexT. Wilson$6,000

Brad Marchand is an elite player in the NHL and we are setting him as our Showdown Captain today. He ended the season with over a half a goal a game and a boatload of assists on top of that. He is part of the best line in hockey and will be dialed in.

Taylor Hall is going through a renaissance after finally making it to a good team. He and David Krejci have had instant chemistry which is a godsend to a center who has had mediocre linemates for years. Krejci himself when he gets into playoff mode is a completely different animal. Washington will have their hands full with this line.

Tom Wilson is lucky Trent Frederic will not be in the lineup as the youngster would immediately be looking for a fight. As long as he can stay out of the penalty box, Wilson is a force to be reckoned with.

Now what do you get if you sign up for $99 now

  • A couple more Bruins who should light it up
  • A riddle, wrapped in a mystery, inside an enigma
  • Access to NBA, PGA and other fantastic fantasy advice

Here’s a bear-y good lineup For DFS Hockey 5/15/21 (using DraftKings Values)

CaptainB. Marchand$15,000
FlexP. Bergeron$8,800
FlexT. Hall$8,200
FlexC. McAvoy$6,600
FlexT. Wilson$6,000
FlexC. Smith$5,400

Patrice Bergeron is the actual captain of the Bruins and is going to give the Capitals headaches with his two way play. His ability to get the puck back and kill penalties as well as make it look effortless is one of the greatest things to watch in this spot.

Charlie McAvoy will be playing heavy minutes and he will lay down the body for whatever reason he needs. He will hit, he will block and hopefully he will score. His game matured a lot this year and we are very interested to see if he can hit the next level in the post season.

Craig Smith. “The existence of Craig Smith is endlessly amusing to me. His name is just ‘Craig Smith.’ That’s the name of your CPA. He was born in Madison, WI, which is like the first city you’d think of if you needed a random city to facilitate telling a story or joke. He was picked in the 4th round, a complete afterthought, but he’s pretty good for some reason. It’s like he was put into witness protection and they sprang “NHL winger” on him for his new job, despite having previously been a botanist or something. All the details of his NHL career seem to be carefully fabricated to support this cover. Craig Smith is a riddle, wrapped in a mystery, inside an enigma.” – The Internet
