NHL DFS Picks For October 29, 2021

Sebastian Aho

Blake Coleman and Brandon Tanev continue to impress even when we do not pick them. It is really great to see how they have become much more than what was expected of them when they were drafted. Come to think of it, Tanev was not even drafted! They are not playing tonight but if you see them in passing, they are always worth your consideration.

The Vegas Golden Knights appear to be turning a page and settling in with the team they have minus two of their biggest players. The Carolina Hurricanes are on the second half of a back to back but the Chicago Blackhawks are in a rough spot these days.

Here’s a fun lineup For DFS Hockey 10/29/21 (using DraftKings Values)

CenterS. Aho$7,400
Center
Wing
WingS. Reinhart$4,200
Wing
DefenseWerenski/Heiskanen~$6,300
Defense
GoalieR. Lehner$8,400
Utility

The most important player on the ice for the Golden Knights tonight will be Robin Lehner. As they get things back on track they will look to their Vezina caliber goalie to shut the Ducks down.

Sebastian Aho is a special player. He has three more years on his contract, but the Canes will be looking to re-sign him for the rest of his career. He will lead them deep into the playoffs this year.

This feels like a pair we have considered before. Both Zach Werenski and Miro Heiskanen are point per game players right now. To be fair they are mostly assists and not a ton of goals but they are consistent. Pick based on your favorite matchup.

The Florida Panthers may have a rough game or two as they change coaches. They are still a dominant team and worth consideration. Sam Reinhart is a flexible player who has gelled well with his teammates and can produce on any given night.

Here Is What You Get If You Sign Up For $99 For Six Months
• A middle of the road center that is over performing right now
• High payoff, low cost players to flesh out your lineup
• All access to our entire site and all the awesome writers we have in board

Chandler Stephenson is chugging along while missing two high end wingers. He is driving his own play and producing every single night. He is an underrated asset on this team.

Alexis Lafreniere has thrown off the chains of last year and is proving his doubters wrong. The former first overall pick is proud to be a Ranger and will hopefully get a tally.

Filip Zadina’s numbers may not be eye popping but he has a surprisingly good floor as he has been a shot machine. He is a highly touted prospect and should get plenty of minutes.

Steady as he goes. Moritz Seider continues to be a revelation in Detroit. We are hoping he starts getting more goals than assists kind of like the other defensemen we picked today, but as long as he keeps doing his thing, we are here for it

One other goalie you might consider if you are looking to save on Lehner would be Elvis Merzlikins. We do not have to get into what is motivating him to play this year, you can find that information through Google. He should always be a consideration in what is going to be a career year for him.

Do you play Rebecca Black’s Friday on loop today? Neither do we, but we are still looking forward to the weekend. All updates can be found on ourTwitter (@FantasyDFSX). Take care of yourselves and have a good one.
