Did you see that Flyers – Edmonton game last night? The Flyers are without Ellis (D1) and Hayes (C2) while Risto took a puck to the face yet they still beat an unbeaten Edmonton having survived their lethal power play. Imagine how good these Flyers will be when they are 100 percent healthy?
Let’s get to tonight’s DFS hockey action…

There are no truly obvious goaltenders to take today. There is risk involved with both our main pick and our sneaky pick behind the paywall. Jordan Binnington and the St. Louis Blues have been having a heck of a start to their season. The Colorado Avalanche are struggling. There will be few times we choose against them, but today is a good one.
Since we are holding off on Nathan MacKinnon we are going to drop down a few more spots to take a guy who may end up being nominated for the Selke. Anze Kopitar is a two beast. On top of that he has been finding the back of the net with regularity and faces a fresh face in Eric Comrie instead of Connor Hellebuyck. LA should be taking as many shots as possible.
The top pool of wingers are all outstanding picks. We are going to compare a couple of guys that are lower down that may help you afford one of the big ones. Jordan Kyrou and Dustin Brown just have solid matchups today. Kyrou is entering his breakout season while Brown is crushing it in the twilight of his career. Kyrou is well over a point per game and Brown is just behind him.
In the same vein as finding you cheap options to afford the expensive guys we have for you Ryan McDonagh. He is facing the lowly Coyotes and has been an offensive force as of late. Jump on this wagon before the wheels fall off.
Here Is What You Get If You Sign Up For $99 For Six Months
• A high risk goalie who has a better shot of winning than you might realize
• The defenseman you need on your roster
• Sports on top sports, on top of sports, on top of sports! DFS goldmine.
Brent Burns is going through a little renaissance over in San Jose. He has been putting up godly shot totals and the Montreal Canadiens are unlikely to offer much resistance. The Sharks are among those teams who are surprising early on and there is no reason to doubt that will continue tonight.
Adin Hill is backstopping the Sharks net and the young man has come out of the gate strong. He seems to be a far sight better than Martin Jones and Devan Dubnyk. San Jose’s defense will definitely be working hard tonight to protect Hill but he should be up to the challenge.
It’s almost all old guys here for you today. Adam Henrique is youthful at 31 compared to Burns and McDonagh but he has been around the block a couple times. It is pretty rare for us to look at Anaheim, but they face Buffalo and that is not an opportunity we could pass up.
Alex Killorn is killing it on the top line in Tampa Bay. He has supplanted Palat for now and has been an absolute force. His price has not caught up to his value yet so there is no reason not to grab him. Yanni Gourde, his former teammate, is in the same boat where he is top line value for middle of the pack price. Great utility pick.
The weekend is almost here and we are so ready for it. Come hang out on Twitter (@FantasyDFSX) and do not forget to get your NBA and NFL picks in for some awesome action tonight. Cheers.
