Until further notice, do not draft Toronto Maple Leaf players or anyone from the Chicago Blackhawks. There will be a Garbage Bowl on Wednesday when they face each other. The anchor for today will be Freddy Anderson. The former goalie of the Toronto Maple Leafs landed in a pretty sweet spot. The Canes are firing on all cylinders right now and he has a chance to show Toronto that they made a terrible mistake. There is a chance Raanta plays tonight, so double check before submitting, but this could be a very memorable night for this goaltender.
You may have noticed that we do not put too many superstars on our list right now, as we prefer to find you enough savings to make that call for yourself, but Alexander Ovechkin is making history right now. He is fifth all time in goals and is only a few away from tying Brett Hull for fourth. At the very least he is getting you shots and more than likely he nets yet another goal.
You know we love our blue collar grinders on defense and we have a couple high quality free ones for you today. Mackenzie Weegar and Colton Parayko are peripheral machines. They have also been getting a couple points here and there. Both are over half a point per game and both of their teams are currently undefeated.
Dylan Cozens is currently enjoying top line status on an overachieving Buffalo Sabres squad. With Jack Eichel out indefinitely, he appears to have secured primo minutes. Even if the Sabres do not win, they will do some damage. Vasilevskiy has a bit of a rough start to the season and may be letting in a goal or two more than usual.

Miro Heiskanen is finally seeing his stock rise. It has not yet caught up to his actual value though so get him on your roster as soon as possible! He put up three points in the Stars last contest and he is hitting his stride.
Jonathan Huberdeau is perfectly priced right now. His ceiling is nearly unlimited as you can see from his last game. Getting 33 fantasy points from a single player is a game changer and that is what he is.
There was a lot of concern whether Vladimir Tarasenko was going to be good after surgery and after having a bit of fall out with the St. Louis Blues organization. He has proven the doubters wrong and is back to point per game production.
Alex Killorn can be a little scary due to a potentially low floor, but he does have a solid ceiling and plays for one of the best teams in the league. He usually gets himself a bit of power play time which rounds out his profile.
All the options are available for winger and utility. One last one to consider will be Blake Coleman. He is a physically dominant player and made his name by working his butt off every shift. This has earned him some highlight reel goals and a big payday. Meat and potatoes.
