Mika Zibanejad is going to have an elite season. The Montreal Canadiens are without their top goalie and the New York Rangers are looking for their first win of the season. Do not overthink it too much. It will take a few weeks for all the ships to steady themselves, but Zibby will be pulling the rudder hard tonight.
The first big choice to make is going to be between Zach Hyman and Conor Garland. The most obvious choice is Hyman because he is on a line with the best player in the world. Garland is a younger, higher ceiling player who just left the desert for better fortunes in Vancouver. He has the makings of a superstar and is a name to follow.
The most difficult choice is always going to be your goalie. This year we expect the tenders to get absolutely shelled. Tonight we like Mike Smith and Jeremy Swayman. Smith is a venerable old man with a potent offense in front of him. Swayman is trying to earn himself a starting job and also has a potent offense in front of him. Let the games begin.

Writing about daily fantasy is an interesting gig because as sports fans first we are following people and stories and want to focus on where the big things are starting to happen. We also need to try and get you points today and not two years down the line. Check out Vince Dunn as soon as possible. A new Kraken, this 24 year old has already gotten himself a point and will be getting a lot more this year.
For your main defense go with the old spice. Mark Giordano was just named first captain in Seattle Kraken history. Kris Letang has a whole room in his mansion for the incredible amount of trophies he has won over his career. Both are Norris caliber even this far into their time in the league.
The big boy group of hilariously undervalued is comprised of Vladimir Tarasenko, Pierre Luc-Dubois, Tom Wilson and just behind them is Jesse Puljujarvi. There is such a high ceiling for all of these guys. When they hit their stride they will be shaping the NHL any which way they please.
There is so much hockey today. Like, wow, a lot of hockey. Go turn on your favorite team, kick back and enjoy while we continue to follow all the details so you do not have to. Twitter (@FantasyDFSX) for all you tweeters. For the rest, take care.
