Do you know the Sway? Tons of games today and a lot to balance. You might think more matchups would jump off the page at us to see who is going to feast on whom. The easiest one is the Boston Bruins vs the Ottawa Senators. Spoiler alert: we are going after Boston’s goalie. There may be one more guy behind the paywall but we have not decided yet. The Florida Panthers should slice up the New Jersey Devils and we figure the Vegas Golden Knights will dummy the Seattle Kraken. That is the start of our plan, let us see how it falls into place.

Here’s a sunny lineup For DFS Hockey 11/9/21 (using DraftKings Values)

WingA. Cirelli$3,300

GoalieJ. Swayman$8,600

The Boston Bruins are having just an ok start to the season. Their second line still needs some tweaking and there are questions around the roster. They have not decided on a true starter in net but Jeremy Swayman is getting the nod tonight. He is young and learning fast, with an awesome chance against a Senators team that is not putting it together the way they wanted. To top it off, they are on their backup goalie of Anton Forsberg. This is the Sway.

Alexander Barkov just saw his price rise by over $1,000! Somehow he is still a bargain. He is legitimately an $8,000 player, so anytime he is less, take him. This team is a juggernaut. Sure they got their first regulation loss of the year last night but that is unlikely to slow them down that much. They know they are that good.

Did you go after Danault yesterday? Straight fire. Two goals and an assist for less than $4,000. That’s insane value. Let’s see if we can do it again. Anthony Cirelli is top line on Tampa Bay for peanuts. Get after it.

Brandon Saad feels too good to be true. If we take him will his production just fall off? This hot hand is going to end soon, so if you are going to pull the trigger do it now. It is not too much of a savings but consider Pavel Buchnevich. For some reason he is down on the third line, but we are seeing his minutes slowly increase and he does have the all powerful power play one time over Saad at the moment. He is paid $5.8M a year. That is goal scorers money. Potentially take both of them to cover your risk pool. We still might lean Buch.

Why is P.K. Subban more expensive than Darnell Nurse or Charlie McAvoy? He is on a weaker team than either of them and he is below Dougie Hamilton on the depth chart. Nurse and McAvoy are the number one studs for their squads. Nurse is the stronger option with Edmonton’s power play being off the charts good this year. At the same time, McAvoy can make magic happen and the Bruins top line is finding their own again.

Let us finish up on defense before getting to some more forwards for you. We do not need to go super cheap here since Cirelli and Buch saved us a significant chunk of change. For your base of support we offer you Colton Parayko and Neal Pionk. Parayko is a swiss army knife of a player. Please disregard the fact that he is, in fact, Canadian. Neal Pionk is second pair and second power play. But the Jets second unit is arguably as good as their first. This is not a one, two situation. Just an A and a B. Pionk has a higher likelihood of scoring, Parayko gets you shots and blocks. Choose wisely.

Consider the notice served that Nicholas Roy remains highly undervalued for the spot he is on the Knights. Same deal as always. Top line time for pennies on the dollar.

Well, well, well. We should cut it off there. You have enough to upgrade Barkov to  McDavid and have a ton leftover for an elite winger. All the options are yours. Who are you taking with all of that extra budget? Tyler Bertuzzi who has been playing like a man possessed? Or maybe a slightly used David Perron or Adam Henrique who continue to shine into their 30s?

This is all feeling really good in the way we deliver all you legends your daily fill of DFS. Plenty to chew on, but you have your choice and some options to make it your own. Are we doing a good job? Let us know on Twitter (@FantasyDFSX). The Carne Asada is marinated, the tortillas are ready to be toasted. It is the best day of the week. Taco to you tomorrow.
