NHL DFS Picks For November 4, 2021

Patrice Bergeron DFS
NEWARK, NJ - JANUARY 14: Boston Bruins center Brad Marchand (63) celebrates with teammates Boston Bruins center David Krejci (46) and Boston Bruins center Patrice Bergeron (37) after he scores during the first period of the National Hockey League game between the New Jersey Devils and the Boston Bruins on January 14, 2021 at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ. The bombshell finally drops. After months of wild speculation and rumor, the Buffalo Sabres have traded superstar Jack Eichel to the Vegas Golden Knights. In return they get Peyton Krebs, our boy Alex Tuch and some future picks. There is not much we will be able to report on since neither Eichel or Tuch will be playing until 2022 as they both recover from surgeries, but Krebs will be on our immediate radar. Stay tuned.

There are just too many games for us to go over with a fine tooth comb today. Nine matches, 18 teams! We are starting with the New York Islanders, the Boston Bruins and the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Here’s a dirty lineup For DFS Hockey 11/4/21 (using DraftKings Values)

Center
CenterP. Bergeron$6,300
Wing
WingKillorn$4,700
Wing
DefenseMcAvoy/Puloch~$5,800
Defense
GoalieI. Sorokin$8,300
Utility

As usual this is written before confirmation of starting goalie for a lot of teams. If Ilya Sorokin does not get the nod, that means Semyon Varlamov is back and we cannot wait to take him again. The Islanders have a juicy matchup against the Canadiens.

Everyone in Boston adores the time that Zdeno Chara was their captain, but there is still the wish that Patrice Bergeron would have a little more time with the C on his chest. He is an incredible leader and even better player.

Alex Killorn keeps scoring goals. His cost is not catching up for some reason so it is wise to take the under five thousand dollar ayer who has seven points in his last four games. Seriously.

Just under the top tier defensemen you get guys who give you all the peripherals. Beefing up your team with shots and blocks, these dudes may even score you a goal. Charlie McAvoy is the guy who has the better chance at that, but Ryan Puloch’s floor is among the highest in the league.

Here Is What You Get If You Sign Up For $99 For Six Months
• Our broken record rookie defenseman pick. Yes, it’s him again.
• A high end winger comparison

We missed out on a big Moritz Seider day this week. He had a big day for fantasy owners. There are few rookies we have seen who so quickly, yet quietly, come in and own their position. It is also with little fanfare outside the fan base. One day the media will catch on. Until then keep milking that value.

Anthony Beauvillier is long past being a rookie and is continuing to refine his game. He is not the biggest guy out there but he has immense skill and displays it nightly.

The biggest question facing us this morning is whether to take Brad Marchand or William Nylander. On the face of it, Marchand is the clear choice. He is a truly elite player who can score goals no matter how outnumbered he is. On the other hand, Nylander has been on absolute fire and is the best Toronto Maple Leaf currently. Check out their stats, see the matchup and see what makes the most sense for you.

The San Jose Sharks have a pod of wingers that cost you next to nothing and are all performing well right now. Between injuries, Covid protocols, and the Evander Kane situation, a lot of young guys are taking their shot and they are hitting. In a somewhat particular order you cannot go wrong with DahlenBarabanovEklund or even Balcers. Remember, Timo Meier was just placed on IR and he was everything to them. Someone needs to step up and it will be one of these studs.

What a week it has been. Let’s get to the end of it and be ready to celebrate!  You probably already follow us on Twitter (@FantasyDFSX). Is it puck drop yet?
