Carter Hart with the shut out! It took us many years of hard data science to reach the conclusion that the Philadelphia Flyers would beat the winless Arizona Coyotes. You are welcome.

Today’s matchups feel pretty cut and dry on paper. The Carolina Hurricanes should handle the Chicago Blackhawks with ease, the Edmonton Oilers will prevail over the Predators and the Avalanche will likely wipe out the Blue Jackets. Or will they?

Here’s a booming lineup For DFS Hockey 11/3/21 (using DraftKings Values)

Center
CenterB. Schenn$5,100
WingTeravainen/Hyman~$6,000

DefensePesce/Slavin~$4,100
Defense
GoalieM. Koskinen$8,000
Utility

Mike Smith is on injured reserve right now. That means that Mikko Koskinen will likely be between the pipes tonight for the Oilers. Nothing is confirmed yet, so on the off chance that Stuart Skinner gets the nod, take him as well.

We are going after Brayden Schenn more as a means to get McDavid than anything else. He is still a fine player I’m his own right and has been solidly productive so far this season. The best thing here is that his time on ice has been up to 19 min per game and that is where the magic happens.

Do you stack McDavid with his linemate Zach Hyman or do you go after the guys whose nickname is Turbo? Teuvo Teravainen is one of the big guns on Carolina and a prime reason for their success this year.

Here are a couple amazing steals to be had. Heck you could just grab both of them. The Hurricanes are noted for having a stout defense and Brett Pesce and Jacob Slavin are a huge part of that. Pesce has the higher floor with better peripherals whereas Slavin is slightly more likely to get on the scoreboard. Take a look and see how they might fit your needs.

Here Is What You Get If You Sign Up For $99 For Six Months
• Are the Blue Jackets going to beat a heavily injured Colorado team?
• Backup goalies!
• Full spectrum of sports advice at the best time of year when it is all going down!

Cale Makar is on injured reserve and he will not be helping the Avalanche anytime soon. They are pretty beat up to start the season and now is the time for other teams to hammer them. The Blue Jackets are les by Boone Jenner who finally earned a letter on his sweater afterb grinding in the league for a long time. Let’s find out how he leads the team in this battle.

Torey Krug is a defenseman we tend to hesitate on. He has played hard minutes for the Boston Bruins and is just not the biggest dude in the league. He is still the Blues power play quarter back and can sling a puck along the blue line with the best of them. We are feeling him today, so let’s go.

If the Avalanche are stopped it will be due to Columbus goaltending. Whoever gets the P next to his name today’s is the guy to go with. Merzlikins and Korpisalo are a baller tandem and the Jackets are feeling good with them behind them.

Our last thoughts for the day are on J. T. Compher and Alex Iafallo. Compher is getting more chances at ice time with his team falling apart around him and Iafallo is enjoying the emergence of the Kings youthful core. They are both young and in their prime. Both for less than $5,000. Nice.

Happy hump day everyone, we are almost halfway through the week. Let us know if you need anything over on Twitter (@FantasyDFSX) and take it easy.
