Even we are a little surprised at how well our pick of Draisaitl went yesterday. Two goals, two assists and five shots. McWho? The rest of it feels like par for the course. A goal, an assist, and a win. That is what we are giving away for free. Today we are going to be a little more stingy.

It would have been crazy to say a few months ago that a Buffalo Sabres v San Jose Sharks would be one of the hype matchups for the day but here we are. Both teams hold winning records and are greatly utilizing the young talent in their pipeline. Speaking of rookies we have a couple exciting ones for you today but you’ll have to pony up the measly $99 for six months to get them. Our meat and potatoes behind the counter have been delicious and you should try some.

Here’s a toothy lineup For DFS Hockey 11/2/21 (using DraftKings Values)

Center
Center
WingV. Olofsson$6,200
Wing $3,600
Wing $2,500
DefenseB. Burns$6,900
Defense
GoalieC. Hart$8,500
Utility

Carter Hart or as Rear Admiral would say “Cahtah Haht” is a little spendy for his performance this year but look at that matchup. The poor Arizona Coyotes are well on their way to the bottom and have not won a game yet. They want a high draft pick and they will be getting it. The Flyers could use a big win, so we may have another guy from that squad worth considering.

Brent Burns is averaging over three shots per game which is nuts for a defenseman. He has for years been an elite offensive defenseman. He will be scoring his first goal of the season very, very soon. Keep him on your board until he does cause it’s just a matter of time.

We have a one trick pony for you today from the Sabres. Victor Olofsson really does only one thing well. Luckily, that thing is scoring goals. He is top line and top power play and that is unlikely to change. He is a pivotal and foundational piece for Buffalo.

Here Is What You Get If You Sign Up For $99 For Six Months
• While not strictly rookies, two guys who are playing their first full impact seasons
• A new face in Philadelphia who lights the lamp for a living
• Full spectrum of sports advice at the best time of year when it is all going down!

Cam Atkinson is doing his thing and it is the same thing as Olofsson. Six goals in seven contests. That is a torrid start and, not to beat the dead corpse of the desert dog, but Arizona are getting their butts handed to them. Cam is a fantastic price for what he brings to the table.

We realized after we wrote the first part that both Rasmus Asplund and Alexander Barabanov are not rookies. In fact, Barabanov is 27! Whoops. Please do not hold it too much against us, he was buried in Toronto’s minor system forever, but when he moved to San Jose at the end of last season he popped off for seven points in nine games. Asplund has similarly seen very little NHL ice time but has never given up on his dreams. He has pried top line time from other Sabres and has been going off. Welcome to the league, boys, you deserve this.

Oh, were you looking for Centers as well? We can help you out there too. A wild Andrew Coppappears! Do we really need to explain again why we like him and why you should ALWAYS be looking for him? Cool.

We will let you choose your other center and give a couple thoughts on a potential second d-man. Mario Ferraro and Alexander Romanov are your straight up shot blockers. Ferraro adds a ton of hits which do not count towards fantasy but may contribute to him getting a C on his chest some day. They are both young and putting their careers together. Take a peek at both and see who makes the most sense for you.

Is it time to make some beef stew yet? It is definitely chili season and we have all the fixin’s. You cannot pay us enough to get our recipe, sorry. Do not forget about our Twitter (@FantasyDFSX) account. Taco, taco, taco.
