Yesterday turned out to be spicier than we anticipated and we are so happy that Boone Jenner got us a goal. It is always great seeing guys get rewarded for hard work. Today is all over the board. We did not take a few games to focus on as we normally do. We just went with the flow and found hidden value all over the place. Before we get to our goalie of the day we are just going to get it out of the way and say grab Leon Draisaitl. The $400 savings is worth it since he and McDavid play on the power play together. The ceiling is limitless with this guy.
Igor Shesterkin would love to get his Goals Against Average down a little. He is still getting wins, but the Rangers are a little suspect. The matchup against the Canadiens has him salivating. Some unknown depth winger will probably score on him, but the Rangers should come out on top.
Bryan Rust and the Penguins have been pretty banged up to start the year. Do not forget what they are capable of though. He and Crosby had amazing chemistry last season and if that top line can get the motor running they are going to pile on the points.

Adam Fox or Miro Heiskanen is probably going to be your best bet for top dog on your blue line. They offer a consistency on offense that not many can get you. Heiskanen is just under a point per game while Fox is just over. Everyone is lauding the Detroit Red Wings season, as they should, but look for a regression soon. They are only winning half their games. We already talked about Fox’s matchup against Montreal. Is there any way we can take both of these guys?
Take Chandler Stephenson and Mark Stone ASAP. We have been waiting all season for these two to be reunited. Stephenson has been amazing while Stone was IR. Stone’s sub $5,000 price is hilarious and you add that with Stephensons constantly undervalued price and you will be laughing all the way to the top of the leaderboard.
Here are a couple utility thoughts and guys worth keeping an eye on. Anthony Duclair is on the top line on one of the most fearsome teams in the NHL. Rasmus Asplund is top line on one of the biggest surprises of the season in the Sabres. Ryan Hartman is not top line but he is on a respectable third line in Minnesota and has been making the most of his time on ice.
Scott Perunovich will be seeing somewhat sheltered minutes but he finally got his call up. This is an offensive minded defenseman who has been scoring like a madman in the minors. Expect the Blues to give him his chances to shine.
