We just had to talk smack about P.K. Subban didn’t we? He had a great night but at least our other defensive picks also performed admirably. Darnell Nurse and Charlie McAvoy getting assists and shots as one would expect. Maybe while Dougie Hamilton is out we will give P.K. a little more thought. Maybe.
There is one obvious matchup that one should try and exploit. The Minnesota Wild are heavily favored against the Arizona Coyotes. We are happy for the desert dogs getting their first win. We do not expect them to get double digits of those. The Toronto Maple Leafs have the slightest advantage as they are roaring back to last season’s level of success, but the Flyers do have the better record. Nashville v Dallas? Meh. Too many question marks for us.
Here’s a spread lineup For DFS Hockey 11/10/21 (using DraftKings Values)
|Center||J. Eriksson Ek||$6,500|
After much deliberation we are favoring the Flyers in this matchup. Therefore we are taking Carter Hart as our netminder. The Flyers are giving up almost a goal less per game and that will be our tiebreaker today. Hart himself is having his struggles and could use a big game to boost his confidence.
Joel Eriksson Ek was a revelation to many last year as he fought his way to earning a nomination for the Selke trophy. The Selke is given to the best two way player in the game. Ek is only at a half point per game right now but his goals are double that of his assists. He is dangerous. Look for him and Kaprizov to connect on the power play.
Shayne Gostisbehere is no longer on the Flyers but maybe he can be their good luck charm tonight. He has been the leading point getter for the Arizona Coyotes and while we would like to see those block totals go up he is getting shots and making things happen.

Ok, we lied. We are going after one Dallas Star. Tyler Seguin has seen it all. He has won a Stanley Cup, he has been unceremoniously traded, been back to the Cup Finals, and dealt with major injuries along the way. He is still chugging and will hit the big 3-0 in January. When he is on, the Stars are on.
Your appetizers for the day are as follows: Michael Bunting, Ryan Hartman, and Marcus Foligno. Try not to go overboard with Wild players but this team gets work done. They are fun to watch and will make every game a nail biter. Bunting is a super cheap piece to leech off of Matthews and Marner. A combination of these guys can afford you any player you want.
Lies on top of more lies. One Dallas Star to weigh against one more Wild. Miro Heiskanen is the driver of a ton of offense in Dallas’ backend. Is Matt Dumba for real? Every year since his pectoral injury is supposed to be the year he comes back. We have been snake bit so many times, but that was owning him for an entire season in our roto fantasy leagues. For one game against the Yotes? Worth the roll.
One last nugget to chew on is Joel Farabee. After all that we barely talked about Flyers players. He can barely order a beer at the bar but he is chugging along on the second line and putting up a commensurate amount of points. Three goals, three assists, three cheers!
The asada was amazing, thanks for asking. Who are you going after with all that extra budget we left you? Shout us out on Twitter (@FantasyDFSX). The middle of the week is already upon us and we are cruising. Hop on board and take a load off.
