This is one of the quietest days in recent memory and it is actually going to be difficult to use all of our budget. Every team has been eliminated and it is time for teams to look ahead to the future and make sure they keep their players safe. The Dallas Stars made a valiant push but fell short. They do not need to go hard tonight since they are one of the most injured teams in the league. The Ottawa Senators will probably not pull their foot off the gas as they let the league know they are going to be coming in strong next season. We will have one bonus player not from those two teams, but those are where you should focus your efforr

Here’s a minor lineup For DFS Hockey 5/9/21 (using DraftKings Values)

CenterP. Suter$4,200
Center
WingP. Kane$7,800
Wing
Wing
Defense
DefenseC. Murphy$5,200
GoalieK. Lankinen$7,300
Utility $4,900

Pius Suter is holding down the top line center spot in Chicago and it suits him pretty well. Next season with Dach and Toews hopefully fully healthy, he will be relegated somewhere else but he is thriving while being given this opportunity.

Patrick Kane is out here padding his stats every night. He is a prolific scorer and a good stack with Suter. We may be stacking Suter with Kane but it does not matter. They work well together. At the very least, Kane is one assist away from 50 and we are sure he would love to hit that.

Connor Murphy is a physical player. He is one of the top shot blockers in the league and usually chips in a couple shots to boot. Let him get you all the peripheral stats you need.

Kevin Lankinen just deserves praise for a phenomenal season that no one was expecting. With the departure of Corey Crawford and a likely pairing of Subban and Delia, Lankinen made the taxi squad, made the team and then never let go of the reins. He will look to get one more win to round out his season.

Now what do you get if you sign up for $99 now

  • Stacks of young players who are not ready to work on their golf game
  • A veteran defenseman
  • Access to tons of daily fantasy sports across a lot of interests

Here’s a minor lineup For DFS Hockey 5/9/21 (using DraftKings Values)

CenterP. Suter$4,200
CenterP. Kurashev$2,600
WingP. Kane$7,800
WingB. Tkachuk$7,500
WingC. Brown$4,700
DefenseJ. Klingberg$5,700
DefenseC. Murphy$5,200
GoalieK. Lankinen$7,300
UtilityD. Batherson$4,900

Phillip Kurashev – C has been in a similar position as Suter and has made the most of his extra time on ice. He is the second line center with Dach out and has Alex DeBrincat on his wing. We did not call out DeBrincat nearly enough for his outstanding play this season but we sure will next year.

Brady Tkachuk – W is quickly becoming a household name and he is having a blast doing it. He already has a signature celly (celebration) from when he scores and brings a ton of energy to a young team that is positioning themselves for the future. They will finish strong.

Connor Brown– W had something like an eight game scoring streak in the middle of the season and has twenty on the season. That is impressive and puts him much higher on the goal scorers list than most might realize. He may be on the third line right now but it is with two superstars in the making. This kid is going places.

John Klingberg – D may now be out of the running but the veteran will not just roll over. Luckily for you he tends to do a decent job peripherally so even if the Stars do not light it up tonight he can still get you some decent points.

Drake Batherson – U is up on the top line with Tkachuk right now and is an absolutely electric player. There is no specific goal or assist total he is chasing right now but the youth has energy. He will try and get as much out tonight as he can.
