There is a boat load of hockey going on today. Final spots are being decided and a few teams are battling for home ice advantage. You know who our top pick is already because you just have to watch this dude play. The rest of our picks are a smattering of teams. No set theme today just going with some gut feelings.

Here’s a frosty lineup For DFS Hockey 5/8/21 (using DraftKings Values)

CenterC. McDavid$9,200
Center
WingE. Kane$7,100
Wing
Wing
DefenseC. Makar$6,400
Defense
GoalieC. Talbot$8,500
Utility $5,700

Connor McDavid is not trying to slide into home plate. He will be sprinting across it. Four points to go. Set him and forget him.

Evander KaneThe Sharks are long out of the race but Evander Kane is still lighting it up. We wanted to give a little love to some of the teams who are out but have not given up. They face a Coyotes team that seems to be on again off again. They were on last night so let’s see how they do at the end of a back to back.

Cale MakarWe got screwed out of MacKinnon yesterday to a late injury but Makar held down the fort with a goal and an assist. We are not worried about him playing two days in a row, he is a stud.

Cam Talbot is sitting behind a fire Wild team that is looking to secure home ice advantage over the Avalanche. They will be finishing the season strong and Talbot will be back there doing his thing.

Now what do you get if you sign up for $99 now

  • Young guns finishing the season strong
  • Our utility pick from yesterday is in the main lineup
  • The hopes of a playoff team rest on this man’s shoulders

Here’s a frosty lineup For DFS Hockey 5/8/21 (using DraftKings Values)

CenterC. McDavid$9,200
CenterT. Zegras$3,800
WingE. Kane$7,100
WingBarre-Boulet$3,500
WingM. Foligno$3,100
DefenseC. Makar$6,400
DefenseZub$2,700
GoalieC. Talbot$8,500
UtilityM. Barzal$5,700

Trevor Zegras – C has already ascended to first line center on the Ducks. Whether he stays there remains to be seen but take advantage of his increased time and responsibility. He can handle it.

Alexander Barre-Boulet – W is also seeing his minutes increase on Tampa Bay’s top line. Those minutes will be going away soon when Kucherov comes back so we are thinking he might try and make the best of what time he has left.

Marcus Foligno – W on the other hand has been making up for lost time. He has been killing since getting back from injury and makes this team a lot scarier. He is a sneaky power forward pick that is going to finish the season strong.

Artem Zub – D is a cheap defenseman that scores more than one might expect and is plenty happy to beef up your peripheral categories. The Senators are making a strong push to end their season on a high note even if it will not be in the postseason.

Mat Barzal – U is back as the top center in Long Island and all is right in the world. The biggest issue facing this team is goal scoring. It needs to come from the top. If Barzal cannot get it together they are going to struggle mightily against the Penguins.

Happy Saturday. Here is your court ordered Twitter (@FantasyDFSX). Try not to overdose on hockey today there is a lot going on. Have fun!
