Two more teams have been eliminated. The Pittsburgh Penguins have been upset by the New York Islanders and the Florida Panthers could not make the final push against the Tampa Bay Lightning. We have two more games for you today, both of which could see another team booking their tickets to their favorite golf resort. The Montreal Canadiens have an enormous uphill battle to climb to stay alive while the Toronto Maple Leafs beat the absolute bag out of them. The Carolina Hurricanes are having more trouble than anticipated with a cornered Nashville Predator team who could very well force a game seven. Buckle up, it is going to be a wild ride!

Auston Matthews did not have to lift a finger during the Leafs drubbing of the Canadiens in game four. He still did to the tune of six shots so he was still worth owning, but for that price we are always looking for more. Toronto is looking at a golden opportunity to make it to the second round for the first time in a long time. It is a really big deal for them and we are excited to see it happen.
William Nylander has been playing out of his mind and we have not given him enough credit. To be fair, his price is above average and fitting him in with all the other superstars we go for makes that job very difficult. We are making room for him tonight especially after we crushed it with our Kerfoot pick on Tuesday. We know they work well together and should expect to see that continue.
Dougie Hamilton is a beast. The assist was nice and all but eight shots will make even Ovechkin blush. The dude has a howitzer and he will be unloading round after round at Juuse Saros tonight. We do not envy their goalkeeper’s position. Goals against are going to happen with the volume Carolina dumps on them and over twenty percent are coming from this guy.
Jack Campbell. The dream season continues. Campbell notched his first playoff shutout and at the tail end of back to back games. The Leafs have their number one goalie and it is his net for the foreseeable future.
Now what do you get if you sign up for $99 now

Here’s a loaded lineup For DFS Hockey 5/27/21 (using DraftKings Values)
Center | A. Matthews | $9,200
Center | J. Staal | $4,700 | |
Wing | W. Nylander | $5,800
Wing | L. Kunin | $3,300 | |
Wing | J. Spezza | $2,900 | |
Defense | D. Hamilton | $6,900
Defense | Carrier | $3,100
Goalie | J. Campbell | $8,300
Utility | T. Toffoli | $5,700 |
Jordan Staal – C has been a workhorse for the Carolina Hurricanes. From the third line he has captained the heck out of this team and brings them goals at the most opportune times. He is the first gear in a six speed super car and they would not get off the starting line without him.
Luke Kunin – W still maintains some sleeper status. Please do not go and tell everyone you know about this dude. A two goal performance, one of which was a double overtime winner, is why we like him longer term over Kevin Fiala. Yeah, we said it, he has a higher ceiling than Fiala. He has also been an absolute wrecking ball averaging five hits a game over his last five. That will not translate directly to fantasy points but know that he wants it.
Jason Spezza – W you old so and so. What are you doing thinking you can hang with the kids these days? What is that? You scored more points from the fourth line than Josh Anderson did in the top six in Montreal? Interesting. Jason Spezza is a secret weapon and a low cost one at that. Add in that Adam Brooks should be his center and you have ample opportunity for some filthy assists that the Canadiens will just be unable to stop.
Alexandre Carrier – D. The turnover leading to the overtime winner was not pretty. Carrier is still only 24 years old though and is playing decent minutes with the occasional shot at the top power play. He will be looking to bounce back and hopefully focus on the simple things. His season is on the line and we think he will step up.
Tyler Toffoli – U. The Montreal Canadiens do not stand a good chance of winning this game. That does not mean they will not score and Toffoli is one of the best in the league at that. He was top ten in the regular season and like the other names we have facing elimination, we believe in his ability to elevate his game and put the team on his back.
