The last week of the regular season is here! We will be getting these last few articles out to you and then doing the work to get ready for the playoffs which is just concentrated awesome. There is only one spot left in the playoffs that has not been decided yet and that is in the north division. The Montreal Canadiens only need one more point in their next three games to secure it and the Calgary Flames would have to win out. The Edmonton Oilers would be happy to assist them in seeing the door and are unlikely to let off the gas right now.

Here’s a chilly lineup For DFS Hockey 5/10/21 (using DraftKings Values)

CenterC. McDavid$9,200
Center
WingB. Marchand$7,400
Wing
Wing
DefenseD. Nurse$6,600
Defense
GoalieC. Driedger$7,800
Utility $4,700

Connor McDavid did the thing and hit 100 points on the season. What a monumental achievement. Kudos all around. Do not think for a second, though, that he will feel like he is done. To take it easy with only a couple games until the postseason is not in his blood. He will be driving the Oilers to stomp the Canadiens and still has some more points up his sleeve.

Brad Marchand We initially had Mikko Rantanen here but with MacKinnon out and Marchand closer to some personal goals while being quite a bit cheaper, we called an audible and made the swap. He has two games to hit 30 goals and 40 assists for 70 points. He has it in him.

Darnell Nurse deserves to be in the Norris conversation this year. He has been absolutely dominating all areas of the ice and is one of the most feared blue liners in the game. He does not need the power play to thrive, leave that to Barrie. Nurse just gets it done.

Chris Driedger. This is a very interesting matchup because it will be a barometer for the first playoff round when the Battle of Florida goes down. The issue for Tampa Bay is they are missing significant pieces. Hedman was just ruled out and potentially for the season which would be a devastating loss. Look to the Panthers to cement their position in the standings with a win tonight.

Now what do you get if you sign up for $99 now

  • A third line winger who has moved to second line center
  • Our favorite defenseman
  • A brand new goal scorer

Here’s a chilly lineup For DFS Hockey 5/10/21 (using DraftKings Values)

CenterC. McDavid$9,200
CenterG. Vilardi$3,500
WingB. Marchand$7,400
WingC. Caufield$4,500
WingM. Marchment$2,500
DefenseD. Nurse$6,600
DefenseW. Kalynuk$3,700
GoalieC. Driedger$7,800
UtilityQ. Hughes$4,700

Gabe Vilardi – C has had a modest season on a middling team. He is so young though and may even be in the conversation for the Masterton Trophy which honors the player who battled the most adversity to get where he is. He came back from a big back surgery and has earned second line time on the Kings. We believe in him.

Cole Caufield – W. Look, you want goals more than any category and that is all this guy is going to get you. He will get shots at least but blocks will not be happening. This will be a game worth watching and he is a player worth following.

Mason Marchment– W is our bargain basement steal of the day! He is listed as a winger but with Sam Bennett out with injury, Marchment is now the second line center. This is a big game and the team will be looking for him and Huberdeau to hook up and hold Tampa at bay.

Wyatt Kalynuk – D is a very new name on the scene but he is seeing ice time increase quickly. We would like to see his peripherals start to increase but he is giving Chicago everything he has right now.

Quinn Hughes – U. We would be remiss if we did not try and get one more assist filled game from Hughes. He had a little bit of a slump there but he was supposedly one of the worst hit by the Covid variant that tore through the Canucks lineup. The Jets backup goalie is in tonight so they need to press hard to salvage the rest of their season.

No case of the Mondays over here. We are pumped to wrap up the season and get to the big boy work. Check us out on Twitter (@FantasyDFSX) for any and all updates. Have a great week!
