That Tuch, Skinner, Thompson line is something else, isn’t it? Did you take any of our last minute suggestions? Skinner and Thompson both got a goal and Tuch was around for another assist to keep his point per game status. We are happy for Sabres fans now that they have more to look forward to. When are we getting Jack Quinn and John Jason Peterka up from the Amerks?

Here’s a sunny lineup For DFS Hockey 3/3/22 (using DraftKings Values)

Sergei Bobrovsky is still our number one cop on the force. We definitely think he can make his contract more worth it than most of the peanut gallery gives him credit. How can you not with the absurd amount of talent in front of him?

At the top of that talent is Alexander Barkov. There was a time that it looked like he might request a trade out of Florida but he has stuck it through the bad times and is reaping all the rewards.

Jonathan Huberdeau is sort of the number two talent on the team. He is certainly first in points and not only on the team but the entire league. He is strong, crafty and confident. Keep shooting for 100 points, kid.n

Ok, no one is actually surprised by Leon Draisaitl being this good at this point, we just wanted to be cute about hiding out intentions. Sure Edmonton is all over the place but over $1,000 cheaper than Barkov yeah, we will take that.

Our last center options revolve around Ryan Hartman and Vincent Trochek. You know we love Eriksson Ek, but Hartman is getting the better opportunities right now. Trochek is just chilling with the Hurricanes and having a modestly solid season. The comparison that Brad Marchand made about Trochek being a Prius while he is a Lamborghini was funny at the time, but Vinny is not electric, he is all diesel.

The tough thing about taking Cale Makar is that everyone is going to. There are no margins there. To avoid a little of that risk but still keep your ceiling high, go for Alex Pietrangelo or Darnell Nurse. Pietrangelo does not have an easy game against Boston, but there is no love lost there if you remember back to the 2019 Stanley Cup Finals. He emerged the victor and will be lights out tonight. Nurse is playing the Blackhawks who we forget exist sometimes. Evan Bouchard has taken over top power play time but Nurse is just a straight up productive dude.

Speaking of Bouchard he is at a fantastic price and may be a better choice than either. We are not the only ones in on the secret but Devon Toews is the next best bet from the Avalanche and will just not stop.

Don’t look now but Jake Debrusk has nine points in his last six games. Rumor has it that he still wants to be traded but he is doing a great job of getting his value up so Boston gets the best return for him.

We are pretty top heavy today so we have a few more bargains for you to be aware of. T.J. Oshieseems to do  even when his team does not. The Caps are iffy, which also means you could save a few hundred and take Freddy Andersen. Ovechkin has seemingly quieted down for a period.

Anton Lundell is a dark horse candidate for the Calder trophy. In another year he might win rookie of the year, but the competition may be too stiff. Regardless of the winner, he is still playing amazing hockey and is a real treat to watch. He is soaking up knowledge from Barkov and may one day take his place.

More big matchups and more big bets to place. Are you feeling lucky, punk? Well, we are. Updates can be found on Twitter (@FantasyDFSX) and we can be found researching hockey stats. Fricken nerds. Stay thirsty friends!
