Injuries and Covid issues abound so pay careful attention to who you are taking today. All four games today are of some interest but we are going after two in particular. The Boston Bruins vs the New Jersey Devils and the Nashville Predators vs the Chicago Blackhawks. The Bruins are looking to gain a little momentum at the expense of the Devils and the Blackhawks would like to avenge yesterday’s loss especially with Kirby Dach back in action.

Here’s a lucky lineup For DFS Hockey 3/28/21 (using DraftKings Values)

Center
CenterK. Dach$2,500
WingD. Pastrnak$9,100
WingP. Kane$8,000
WingT. Frederic$2,500
Defense
Defense
Goalie
Utility $4,900

David Pastrnak is a prolific point scorer. We are not that worried that Brad Marchand is likely out tonight as Pasta can make it happen by himself and still has the help of Patrice Bergeron. He will be fine.

Trent FredericSince Marchand is probably not playing we get a chance to see Frederic on the top line. Cheap stack with Pastrnak that has some nice upside. The best part is that he looks up, well down, to Marchand in learning about how to become a pest. Trent loves getting under people’s skin and he will have some extra time to do just that. Expect him and Subban to be jawing at each other immediately.

Patrick Kane should have some serious backing when it comes to the Hart trophy voting this year. Clearly, McDavid and Draisaitl are playing at another level but what Kane is doing on the team he is on is truly remarkable. He has nearly as many assists as games played and then another cool 13 goals on top of that.

Kirby DachEveryone who is a hockey fan should be pumped that Dach is back. This kid is a special player and it was devastating news that he had broken his wrist before the WJC started last year. He is showing as third line center right now but in his first game back he played twenty minutes. They are ramping him up fast and he will be productive sooner rather than later. This is the cheapest he will ever be

Now what do you get if you sign up for $99 now

  • A solid goalie to keep your team afloat
  • Modest defensemen with high floors
  • A Blues spread to maximize the damage against the Ducks

Here’s a lucky lineup For DFS Hockey 3/28/21 (using DraftKings Values)

CenterB. Schenn$6,000
CenterK. Dach$2,500
WingD. Pastrnak$9,100
WingP. Kane$8,000
WingT. Frederic$2,500
DefenseJ. Klingberg$5,100
DefenseBoqvist$3,700
GoalieJ. Halak$8,200
UtilityJ. Kyrou$4,900

Brayden Schenn – C is back to the top line with Tarasenko. For a while O’Reilly held the honor but coach Craig Berube has been doing a little bit of shuffling as the season has progressed and players came back from injury. Schenn is a powerhouse and does it all.

Jaroslav Halak – G continues to be the de facto starter in Boston as Tuukka Rask appears to not be fully healthy yet. Rask made six saves in his last game before leaving early with an apparent upper body injury. Halak has had his stumbles recently but has all the talent to smooth out the ride.

John Klingberg – D is the number one defenseman in Dallas. We have not had the extra time to dig into what is happening with Miro Heiskanen but all we know is Klingberg is the guy to own. He is heavy on his shot and while it is not his bread and butter he does occasionally get you a block or two. Solid value.

Adam Boqvist – D. We picked him yesterday and he got us an assist. The biggest draw right now is going to be the power play time especially as Dach slots back in. That is the time where Boqvist is really going to make his name known. The Blackhawks currently sit in a playoff spot and this game would go a long way to solidifying that position.

Jordan Kyrou – U. Kyrou gets quite a bit of love around here for having such a sensational under the radar season. The shake up at center is probably good for Kyrou as he is in a mini slump. Having Ryan O’Reilly and David Perron on your line can only make things better for a young player. This selection gets you two of the Blues lines with a great matchup against the Ducks. Time to feast.

We think we managed to eke out a ton of value for you today with our Kane and Pastrnak stacks. Would you have stacked someone else? Let us know what is up on Twitter (@FantasyDFSX). Happy Sunday!
