Yesterday was a wild and wacky one for our fantasy picks. Our last second realization that Hunter Miska was starting and was not the guy to go for was very well founded. Miska was pulled after giving up four goals on seven shots. Brutal. Today is another tough choice for goalie but we think we have you covered.
Most of today’s matchups should be pretty well balanced, at least on paper. The one we have to give the nod to will be the Vegas Golden Knights vs the San Jose Sharks. We will be picking and choosing all over the place not going after stacks today.

Connor McDavid. The man, the myth, the legend. The Oilers seem to be liking having Draisaitl on McDavid’s line and so do we. The Flames will have their hands full with a guy who has scored 53 points in 37 games. Insanity.
Max Pacioretty is something of a renaissance man. He was good in Montreal but he is amazing in Vegas. It feels like he should be over a point per game for all the fantasy points he scores but he backs it up with a boatload of shots. His linemates are great and he comes in clutch more often than not.
Is Marc-Andre Fleury the leading Vezina contender right now? The 36 year old is having a career season and that is saying something for someone who is likely going to the Hall of Fame. If he secures Goaltender of the Year he is a first ballot.
Now what do you get if you sign up for $99 now
- A goalie and winger swap to afford Draisaitl
- Two defenseman who have been firing their offensive guns
- Access to many other experts in several other sports that you should be interested in
Brayden Schenn – C is a very affordable center considering we have McDavid on our roster. With Vladimir Tarasenko back in action and Schenn seeing top power play time in St. Louis he is a great add.
Alex Iafallo – W has seen a bit of a drop in ice time but he responded in two games with a goal and an assist. He has top time with Anze Kopitar which is always a juicy opportunity. The Blues goaltending is a bit suspect so this one might be closer than you would think.
Colin Blackwell – W has leap-frogged Kaapo Kakko on the depth chart in New York. He has used every second of the opportunity and his price has yet to reflect it. Ryan Strome has been playing well and opposite him is Artemi Panarin who is finally back from his hiatus. Good things might be happening for the Rangers tonight.
Jacob Trouba – D often gets criticized for his lack of offensive production but that has been heating up as of late. His shots are going up which is usually a clear indicator he wants to score. If he continues this shot pace to go along with his blocks you have a sturdy blueliner on your hands.
Josh Morrissey – D is another defenseman who has been under fire for lackluster production. He as well has been turning it around and is seeing power play time in Winnipeg which has generated him three points on the man advantage in the last two games. Looks good from here.
Cody Glass – U. Another day and another injury. Chandler Stephenson is nursing a shoulder issue and so Glass has been called up to the top line. He did not make much of it in the last game but we are not too bothered by it. He knows these guys and should not take long to settle in.
Carter Hart – G. If you are looking for a way to afford Draisaitl then swap out Fleury for Hart. He is turning a rough season around and the $500 savings lets you turn Max into Leon. It is a little higher risk but can easily pay off.
