NHL DFS Picks For March 14, 2022

Shayne Gostisbehere

Claude Giroux was our secret weapon of the day yesterday. He scored one goal on seven shots in what would end up as a loss to the Montreal Canadiens. The Flyers need to do right by him and get him traded to a contender as soon as possible.

We only have the one game today which is very rare. We will tell you which team we think is going to win, take a few guys from that and will make sure to balance with a couple options from the other squad.

Here’s a desert lineup For DFS Hockey 3/14/22 (using DraftKings Values)

FlexS. Wedgewood$10,600

Shayne Gostisbehere has become Oliver Ekman-Larsson’s replacement on the Arizona blueline. He is their main power play guy and has been playing up to the potential that the Flyers saw in him when they drafted him. We are happy he has found a good place to play his trade.

Scott Wedgewood is not going to make out list often. While the Senators can certainly score, Arizona has been playing up in recent games and should feel confident going into this one. Wedgie will surprise you with some solid games and we want to see him use this opportunity to see if he can become a starter in this league.

Clayton Keller is over a point per game on the Coyotes? Holy smokes, when did that happen? He and Nick Schmaltz have been unstoppable. With the Senators goalie situation even worse off than Arizona, look for these two to go have yet another big night.

Top end talent fades fast here, so we are jumping down to some depth. Lawson Crouse is right at the breakout mark for total NHL games played and an interesting thing we found out the other day is that his stats are nearly identical to Tom Wilson who is a borderline superstar. The only difference is power play points. He has a lot more to give.

If you cannot stomach taking the Yotes, you probably have to grab Brady Tkachuk and/or Tim Stutzle. They are so young and already so good. They may not be generational talents, but they have the potential to be elite.

One other flex guy we like from the Sens is Artem Zub. His name seems to be spelled differently everywhere we see it, but that is close enough. At least it is not Gostisbehere. We always have to look that one up. Zub is one of those guys that gets you peripherals and will on occasion chip in offensively. We would like to see him keep top pairing with Thomas Chabot who is probably out with injury. Poor guy is a band aid boy.

Get those picks in quick and get ready for a fun tilt. Everything we do gets posted on Twitter (@FantasyDFSX) so head on over there for all the sports glory. Have a great week.
