The Calgary Flames slapped the Tampa Bay Lightning aside en route to yet another victory. This team is insane. This league is insane. We could name eight teams that all have a very valid chance of winning the whole thing. We have some juicy info for you today with some players looking to hit new personal highs and options for trades that will be of great value to you. Stick around and see what we got cookin’.

Here’s a regal lineup For DFS Hockey 3/12/22 (using DraftKings Values)

When did the Kings rise so far in the standings? Looking at Cal Petersen’s stats for the year does not fill one with the most confident yet you do not distrust him. We have been watching him recently and he looks like he has fully taken the reins back from Jonathan Quick who abruptly started showing his age this year. They will be facing the Sharks who are putting in Adin Hill for the first time in a long time. Things are looking good for LA.

The last time we took guys from Los Angeles we took Phillip Danault who absolutely crushed it. This time we are going after Anze Kopitar because his grudge against the Sharks has been around much longer than Danault. Kopitar will be leading this team to a win.

Alex Iafallo would be the next choice to stack with Anze. The young man could stand up his point pace, only hanging out a .5 per game. While he does not wow every game, he will make his presence known on occasion and it is a joy to watch. His very modest price is also going to score us some other big pieces. Total team player.

We are writing this before we write the main article because we just have to shout it from the rooftops to take Elias Lindholm as soon as freaking possible. He is so close to hitting the 30 goal mark for the first time in his career and we know he wants it. Detroit’s goaltending is a true Michigan tire fire and Elias will take full advantage.

Sam Montembeault is not making many lists this year but he has won 4 of his past 6 and is trying very hard to make a name for himself before Carey Price’s eventual return. The Canadiens are hot right now so get in soon!

When is Adam Fox going to score a goal? We want to take him so badly but we want him to annihilate the competition when he does it. Dallas is a good target for that, but should we take Dougie Hamilton instead? He scores more goals and takes more shots overall and we feel like he has the higher floor and usually higher ceiling. But, we still really feel Fox tonight. Decisions, decisions.

With Miro Heiskanen out with that kissing disease, look to John Klingberg to step up in a big way. He had been asking to be traded but that does not seem like it is in the cards. He is the number one right now and they will need to beat a team like the Rangers if they want to make it to the postseason. Speaking of number one, though, Matt Roy has moved up in the absence of Drew Doughty. It has been a long slow climb for Roy but he has earned that ice time. Let’s see what he does with it.

There are not many players who take the step of asking to be traded as Klingberg did, but Jake DeBrusk is one as well. He is playing well on the top line in Boston and is doing his best to raise his own value. We wish him the best in his endeavors because when he finds the right team for him, he is going to do big things.

Just tossing it out there that Nick Schmaltz is not even on fire anymore. He has transcended into a being of pure energy and is just gracing us with his presence. He has 12 points in his last 4 games. Yes, you read that right. He had a six-point night last week. Boston won’t be easy, but he is an interesting utility choice.

Welcome to the weekend. Are you grilling? Going bowling? We may forget sometimes that you might be buried in snow right now. There is not even water where we live. Either way, we hope you are making the best of it. Twitter (@FantasyDFSX). Prost!
