The Boston Bruins have their backs against the wall and will have a difficult game ahead of them tonight. They are missing a few defensemen and their goalie situation is a big question mark. Tuukka Rask had a dreadful game and is clearly not 100 percent. Does that mean they start their rookie backup? As of writing this, we do not know who is starting but that is the great thing about the Showdown format, you do not have to play a goalie!

David Pastrnak still managed an elite level of production even in a loss. The Bruins as a whole put up over 40 shots and Pasta had five of those. Throw on two goals and an assist and you have the perfect person for your captain slot.
Mat Barzal finally found his game and has begun his playoff production. He is steadily earning points in the last three games and he has been finding a higher average of shots. If there is a young goalie in net he will be firing at will.
Noah Dobson has been a very interesting case. He was occasionally healthy scratched during the season and is barely playing 12 minutes a night right now. Despite that he had two assists last game courtesy of the top power play which is where he spends a big chunk of his time. There is a surprising amount of upside here for a cheap price.

Here’s a short lineup For DFS Hockey 6/9/21 (using DraftKings Values)
Captain | D. Pastrnak | $15,900
Flex | B. Marchand | $9,400
Flex | M. Barzal | $8,600 | |
Flex | J. Eberle | $6,200 | |
Flex | Pelech | $5,200 | |
Flex | N. Dobson | $4,600 |
Brad Marchand continues to play hero with highlight reel goals. He just never quits. He is going to be fired up coming into this game and like last time will want to set the tone early.
Jordan Eberle is not nearly the same winger that Patrice Bergeron gets but he has been very helpful for Barzal. It is a simple stack but Eberle has also continued to raise his level of play and has three points in his last two games.
Adam Pelech. You know the drill by now. He is your cheap peripheral guy that gives you point upside with less likelihood of a strikeout. An assist and two shots was a modest return on Monday. We will roll those dice again.
With only one game tonight, see if you can find the time to watch it. We expect that the Bruins will force a game 7 and it will be exciting. If we have updates you can find us on Twitter (@FantasyDFSX). Have a happy hump day and stay cool out there.
