The Carolina Hurricanes fought until overtime to eke out a win. The Boston Bruins also had to wait until extra minutes to secure a victory. These playoffs are not letting up anytime soon. Today will see more spicy action with a Winnipeg Jets team missing Mark Scheifele due to suspension and a Vegas Golden Knights team that is desperate for a win. Can the Colorado Avalanche gain a stranglehold on their series? Can the Montreal Canadiens capitalize on the Jets missing a major piece? Stay tuned and find out!

DefenseC. Makar$6,000

GoalieP. Grubauer$8,200
Utility $3,800

Nathan MacKinnon has finally reached McDavid money. It is still not an overpayment though because he is the best player still left in the playoffs. We do not need to gush any more than we already have over this guy. He is getting it done and has an outstanding cast behind him to keep it rolling.

Nick Suzuki. We are leaving our wingers as a mystery today so we can highlight Suzuki. He is the future face of the Canadiens franchise and is off to a hot start. He has four points in his last five games and brings an extra spark to their offense. Having Caufield and Toffoli on his wing means he can settle in as a playmaker since those guys just score goals.

Cale MakarIt feels like we are a broken record sometimes but you have to play the hottest hand. This team has all the confidence in the world and having Makar behind them is a big reason for it. He is smart, savvy, and driven to win.

Philipp Grubauer continues to top our goalie leaderboard for the sole fact that the Avs have such a strong offense. Everyone left has amazing goaltending, the deciding factor will be who can put more pucks in net.

Now what do you get if you sign up for $99 now

  • A Montreal stack poised to do damage to Winnipeg
  • A Jets stack to counter the Canadiens top line
  • Easy access to fantastic fantasy advice for all sports

Here’s a sweet lineup For DFS Hockey 6/3421 (using DraftKings Values)

CenterN. MacKinnon$9,200

WingB. Gallagher$5,200
WingC. Caufield$4,800
WingCopp$4,100
DefenseC. Makar$6,000
DefenseZ. Whitecloud$3,100
GoalieP. Grubauer$8,200
UtilityP. Dubois$3,800

Brendan Gallagher – W is a feisty player. He may not be the largest guy on the ice but he drives play and never gives up. He is a fan favorite in Montreal and it is easy to see why. He has two goals in his last two games and we think this team is going to hit an extra gear after losing Jake Evans to Scheifele’s hit last game.

Cole Caufield – W. Complete the Montreal stack with Caufield. This team will be playing for a teammate unnecessarily knocked out of the game and will be making it personal. Caufield is still too young for it to be extra personal but it is also a time for him to start scoring the goals he was drafted to score.

Andrew Copp – W is a great depth option and one that the Jets are going to need to step up. He has been a little low on the shot volume but if they are going to turn it around he is going to have to put more on net. The team as a whole should be able to handle the loss of Scheifele but everyone will have to pull their weight.

Zach Whitecloud – D is another guy on our list who we have not been able to put in very often but wish we could. He had a difficult but important moment last year when a mistake led to the turnover that cost Vegas their season. He was immediately comforted by teammates and he has grown a ton since then. He is here mostly for peripherals but he chips in offensively occasionally.

Pierre-Luc Dubois– U will take on the most responsibility with the lineup changes. There is a chance he is the one who takes top center since Stastny is day to day. This hometown kid needs to become a hero soon.
