Victor Hedman DFS

The Carolina Hurricanes are in some trouble right now. They gave up games one and two while at home and are now heading to Tampa Bay. They have likely lost Vincent Trocheck for at least a game and it is unclear if Warren Foegele was hurt at all in their knee on knee collision. The Boston Bruins vs New York Islanders series looks like it is going to seven games with defensively sound systems in place. New York found some extra offense to counter Bostons and both teams are going to have to fight for every inch.

Here’s a monster lineup For DFS Hockey 6/3/21 (using DraftKings Values)

CenterB. Point$6,200
Center
WingN. Kucherov$7,700
Wing
Wing
DefenseM. Sergachev$4,100
Defense
GoalieA. Vasilevskiy$8,200
Utility $4,200

Brayden Point is on a goal or bust kick right now. He has only one or two assists in the playoffs but five goals. We will take one goal scorer, please. The Lightning can almost close the series out tonight and Point will be front and center for it.

Nikita Kucherov has not been getting as many shots as we would like which would suggest the Canes have game planned well for him. With the shift in lines, the home ice advantage, and an unrelenting competitive spirit there is no way Kucherov is silenced for much longer.

Victor HedmanThis free card tonight is a monster. Hedman showed us what he is all about when he laid his body down in front of an open net shot in the waning seconds of the game. He will not take a single shift off and is an imposing figure for other teams to figure out. He is Dougie but bigger, which feels hard to comprehend.

Andre Vasilevskiy has been outstanding in these playoffs so far. In his last three games he has only given up two goals total. That makes the forwards jobs a lot easier when they only have to score one goal to win a game. Luckily for them they can score way more than that. Carolina has their work cut out for them.

Now what do you get if you sign up for $99 now

  • A Boston stack ready to get it done
  • An old faithful utility player
  • Sports, sports and more daily fantasy sports!

Here’s a monster lineup For DFS Hockey 6/3/21 (using DraftKings Values)

CenterB. Point$6,200
CenterD. Krejci$5,000
WingN. Kucherov$7,700
WingT. Hall$5,200
WingC. Smith$4,300
DefenseM. Sergachev$4,100
DefenseA Pelech$3,500
GoalieA. Vasilevskiy$8,200
UtilityJ. Pageau$4,200

David Krejci – C has his full complement back. Craig Smith is playing tonight and he is noticeably better than Jake DeBrusk. No offense to Jake who has been doing everything in his power to score. It is just not there right now. Krejci and crew will look to turn the tables and take one from Long Island in their own barn.

Taylor Hall – W is the next piece in this stack. He passes the eye test with flying colors. He has stepped up his forechecking game, he has added some silky hands and he and Krejci just get each other. With the last piece in our next pick, you have a line that will give opponents fits.

Craig Smith – W is back after a short time injured. We are not worried about the injury bothering him, he is a tough customer. Until the moment happens you may not notice him as he just does all the little things right and with little to no flash. That is perfect because it allows him to stay under the radar until he makes that explosive move that pulls defenses away from one of his other linemates.

Adam Pelech – D will be putting his body in front of the puck and clapping bombs at Tuukka Rask. He has had a little tough go of it as even Boston’s first line got the memo: target Pelech and Pulock. Once they adjust to that, they should be able to shake free from those forechecks and advance the puck a little more.

Jean-Gabriel Pageau – U. Nothing has changed here for JGP. It would be nice if Wahlstrom would return but he can still make things happen with Palmieri by his side. Most of Boston’s attention is focused on the top lines which will allow the third to do some damage.

Thirsty Thursday is here and there will be plenty to cheers tonight.  Get those picks in and follow us on Twitter (@FantasyDFSX) for any last second updates we might need to make. Have a great day!
