We hope you went with our main lineup yesterday as it paid out big. If you are not a subscriber we cannot tell you all our secrets but let us just say that Perron and Kapanen were near the top of the list and they lit it up. Today we will focus again on three different games and there will be some crossover from yesterday. Even with some of the same matchups we are going with significantly different personnel. Come check out what we have to offer. It is time to get in before prices go up and at least try out a free month.

Focus today on Avalanche vs Wild, Blues vs Ducks, and Oilers vs Senators. The Avalanche smoked the Wild yesterday winning 5-1. The Blues cooked the Ducks 6-1. The Oilers beat the Maple Leafs and play a different team but they are looking to build some momentum against a weak Senators team.

Here’s an Cool Lineup For DFS Hockey 1/31/21 (using DraftKings Values)

         C       C. McDavid                          $8,500 (DK)

         C       __________                            $5,500 (DK)

         W      __________                            $4,700 (DK)

         W      __________                            $4,200 (DK)

         W      __________                            $3,800 (DK)

         D       C. Makar                              $6,500 (DK)

         D       __________                           $5,100 (DK)

         G       M. Koskinen                        $8,500 (DK)

         U       __________                            $3,000 (DK)

Every year the Edmonton Oilers are supposed to be playoff contenders and then they fall apart. This season has not started off well for them but a big win over the Toronto Maple Leafs and a follow up against the Ottawa Senators may help them right the ship. Connor McDavid is the guy to own tonight.

Cale Makar’s sophomore season is a roaring success so far. He is a more than a point per game defenseman which is insane. We like his matchup again and want him front in center. You know the drill. Top power play on a top team is just good business.

Mikko Koskinen is not the best goalie but he sees a lot of shots. Our pick yesterday Grubauer was nice with the win and all but under 20 saves really lowers the ceiling. The Avalanche’s defense is just too good. The Oilers on the other hand let a lot of rubber through. There is a little extra risk for Mikko but we can stomach it for the potential.

Brayden Schenn – C ($5,500 DK) has quietly been putting together a monster season. We are not sure why his shot totals are so low but he makes them count. With Kyrou on his wing he stands to continue that productivity moving forward

Jordan Kyrou – W ($3,800 DK). Two goals and an assist and his price does not change. Ok.

Kailer Yamamoto – W ($4,700 DK) has had a little bit of a lull in the point scoring department but take a look at his time on ice. He played almost twenty minutes last night so his coaches trust him. We do too and are going to feel great about the middle of our lineup.

Andre Burakovksy – W ($4,200 DK) has been building a solid breakout year and we think it is high time we jumped on board. He gets second line and second power play and makes the most of it. We wish he would shoot and block a bit more to raise the floor but his ceiling is over a point per game so we will not hold that against him.

Darnell Nurse – D ($5,100 DK) is a beast. He gets all the juicy minutes on the power play and is physical all over the place. He is one of those guys that make us wish we counted hits but he has no problem getting in front of pucks to make the blocks. Great price for a great player.

Bowen Byram – D ($3,000 DK). It would not be one of our articles without a hot new player to learn about. Byram is seeing his opportunities increase as Devon Toews got injured and Erik Johnson appears to be somewhat fragile. This first rounder is worth a deep look.

We do not have much in the way of alternatives today other than saying look at the Blues vs Ducks game a little deeper. The Blues backup goalie Husso will probably let in three or four tonight and so Anaheim holds some sneaky value. Adam Henrique, Ryan Getzlaf, Danton Heinen and a couple others may surprise you. If you like our public service announcements please broadcast that to Twitter (@FantasyDFSX). Please also rate our daily picks. It really helps. Have a great Sunday.
