What a wild weekend of hockey and football. NFL games are continuing to come down to the wire and have been super exciting. Both Rodgers and Brady out already? That is insane. But as much as we love tossing the pig skin around we know you are here for hockey. We have put together a couple of stacks of players that are facing competition that they should tear up.

Here’s a mixed lineup For DFS Hockey 1/24/22 (using DraftKings Values)

CenterR. Hartman$6,000

DefenseJ. Carlson$6,000
Defense
GoalieJ. Oettinger$8,000
Utility

Jake Oettinger and the Dallas Stars will be in Pennsylvania tonight to battle the Philadelphia Flyers. Philly has been in free fall while the Stars are clawing their way into a playoff spot. They have their work cut out for them but Oettinger is only getting better.

Ryan Hartman is on his fifth NHL team and we are not sure why everything started to click in Minnesota over everywhere else. He is getting top line minutes with Kirill Kaprizov who is worth his weight in gold. The 27 year is only two goals shy of his first 20 goal season. He had 19 way back in 2016 and we are sure he has every intention of breaking that barrier sooner rather than later.

John Carlson missed the last four games due to Covid and had had a bit of a quiet week before that. His price has dropped and we are ready to buy on the dip. This is a big game against the Golden Knights and they will need all hands on board.

Devon Toews is showing up Cale Makar in points per game right now and comes in $2,400 cheaper. Toews is in his prime right now and will be teaching the young Makar what it takes to have a long productive career. What a top pairing.

David Pastrnak has seen his price rise by almost $1,000 in the past couple games. There is good reason for that because his goal scoring touch has come back in a big way. He started the season off slowly but may end up giving Alex Ovechkin a run for his money. All that said, we are probably still favoring Kirill Kaprizov if only for the matchup against Cayden Primeau and the Montreal Canadiens.

Continuing the Wild train we are still putting our weight behind Joel Eriksson Ek. Last game he shot seven times and found the back of the net once. We are happy he is healthy again. You can also take a look at Chandler Stephenson who we default to when we are unsure of who else to take. For a around a $4,000 valuation, neither will break the bank.

Dryden Hunt may turn out to be a lemon, but he is on the second line with Strome and Artemi Panarin. It will then afford you either Panarin or Chris Kreider who is also severely under priced right now. Kreider is probably the one we would go with but Breadman can easily take over a game.

It is a short article today but it is also a dense one. Everything you need to have a winning day is in there. Do not forget to follow us on Twitter (@FantasyDFSX). Happy Monday!
