We are taking some big swings tonight. Crosby and that top line dominated last night and Kuemper got himself a 40 save win. We are comfortable going after the guys who we know are going to crush it. Pietrangelo may not have knocked it out of the park but he got you shots and our elder statesmen secondary defensemen both got an assist and multiple shots themselves. That is what we love doing. We get you a well rounded lineup that will get you a single, a double, a triple, and a homerun every night. We may be a little bummed that the MLB is still in a lockout but they will figure it out by season’s start. Let’s stick with the craziness that is the NHL and get you primed for a grand slam.

Another thing we pride ourselves on is timing picks that no one else is taking. There are thin margins in DFS and taking the obvious guy reduces that. Spencer Knight has had a few tough games but he is so freaking young that we know he will bounce back. Most goaltenders do not break into this league until they are 24 or older. Knight is 20 and a rare first round draft pick for a net minder. This team can score the goals to get him a win.
Nikita Kucherov is scoring over 1.5 points a game. Any time we see a reasonably priced 1.0 points per game player you know we are all over it. He is worth over $9,000 and is still a steal at his current price. In his last six games his floor is 10 fantasy points. His ceiling is forty f****** five.
We are taking Aaron Ekblad just for the quote about the eye contact he and Mackenzie Weegarmake before making plays. “That beautiful eye contact makes it really easy on me to make plays with Eckie.” The chemistry on this team is insane.

Ryan O’Reilly is leading the Blues back to the postseason. He won most valuable playoff player when they won in 2019 and the Captain brings all the intangibles that media like to parrot. He gets the job done.
Joel Eriksson Ek is finally back! The huge center for the Wild got a double dose of unlucky when he contracted the ‘rona just as he was coming back from injury. He will be itching to get back in action. For a couple hundred cheaper you could also take Elias Pettersson who has taken far too long to get up to speed this season. It appears he is finally here which is great for your fantasy team.
Pair Jacob Trouba with Ekblad today and watch that blocked shots category get filled. The Rangers have a tough matchup against Carolina and it will take all of Trouba’s big body to stop them.
Go check out the $3,900 block of players for a jackpot pick. Brandon Hagel, Oliver Ekman-Larsson, and Anthony Cirelli are all worth a roster spot at that price.
Because of all the other big names you will need are even cheaper guys. Marcus Foligno is sure to be energized by the return of Ek and Nils Hoglander pairs well with Pettersson.
You may need to trim some fat and if you are taking Vancouver players then you will want to swap Knight for Ilya Sorokin. The Islanders have a good chance at slowing down the Arizona Coyotes who are loping along to a few victories.
