It turns out that fading the Toronto Maple Leafs was, in fact, the right call yesterday. Nylander did well enough but Jack Campbell was not the goalie to own. Subscribers were graced with Karel Vejmelka who got himself the 35+ save win with only one goal allowed. We also went after Adam Fox who had a monster three point night with two of them being goals. We had a couple other juicy tidbits but you’ll have to be a member to go back and see which sneaky picks got us a big win.

The Colorado Avalanche did play last night but it was their back goaltender getting the job done. Darcy Kuemper should be nice and fresh to face a surging LA Kings team. It is not as high a risk as Campbell yesterday but we do have one extra suggestion you will want to stick around for.
Why pay more than $9,000 for the likes of Nathan MacKinnon when Sidney Crosby can be had for under $8,000? The Penguins are playing the Ottawa Senators who are near the bottom of the Barrell and as previously mentioned, his line with Jake Guentzel and Bryan Rust is a formidable one.
If you want the best matchup to exploit today it has to be Vegas over Montreal. The Habs are even further in the muck below the Senators and are having a pretty rough go of it. Alex Pietrangelo will not break the bank but he might break the Canadiens.

Carter Hart is not the reason that the Flyers are having a rocky season. He has been playing well but not getting the win for his efforts. The Columbus Blue Jackets have been dealing with their own issues of late and this is a great opportunity for Philly to put the pieces together.
At least one of Jake Guentzel or Bryan Rust should be stacked with Sid the Kid. That is all.
We love it when there are top line centers that come in under $5,000. Both Logan Couture and Anze Kopitar deserve to be at least $1,000 more expensive. Couture in particular gets a better look because the Sharks are playing the Kraken. One fair warning: everyone will be taking Timo Meierafter his five goal game, pass on him for a little and use that money elsewhere.
Let’s take a similar tack for our second defensemen. Erik Karlsson and Drew Doughty should not be this cheap. Doughty is at a freaking point per game and Erik Karlsson is finally getting back to the form that earned him a ten million dollar contract.
Just below Rust on the pricing chart you will find Drake Batherson and Sam Reinhart. Just because the Sens are not playing great overall does not mean you should fade every player. Batherson is a beast and is pretty much a Brady Tkachuk lite at a nice discount. Reinhart is sitting pretty on Aleksander Barkov’s line and has been thriving since he got traded.
Craig Smith flies under a lot of radars and deserves a little more air time. He does keep his head down but when you play on Boston’s top line you know you have made it. We will keep taking a look at Jeff Skinner as long as he keeps putting points on the board and he continues to do so.
