We hyped Kevin Stenlund and he delivered. That is two days in a row that our under $3000 value utility player has scored a goal. He scored an assist while he was at it and not that it gets recorded in DFS but the goal was the game winner for Columbus.

Patrice Bergeron is a consummate hockey player. He plays every part of the ice and captains one of the most potent offenses in the league. He leads by example and will do whatever is necessary to win a hockey game.
Brad Marchand is not a consummate professional but he does that by choice. We are not sure what he did to deserve the A on his chest as one of the first times he got it he made a fool of himself going after another player when he did not need to. Luckily that does not matter when it comes to scoring points and that is what he does. Another day and another overtime goal for the rat.
Jaroslav Halak. With only two contests and the other being very difficult to predict, Halak is the easiest choice of the day. He has stood tall in net many a time when Tuukka Rask gets the night off and he gives the Bruins an extra layer of confidence.
Now what do you get if you sign up now?
• A goalie that will see a ton of shots.
• An offensive powerhouse who is not getting enough attention.
• More cheap wingers who are climbing the ranks fast.
Ryan Strome – C ($3,900 DK) may have lost Artemi Panarin for a game or two due to injury but he gets Alexis Lafreniere to back him up for now. Coupled with his other wing Kaapo Kaako he gets two of the top draft picks from the last two years. Something is off with Mika Zibanejad and Strome may be getting more ice time if Ziby cannot keep up.
Jake Debrusk – W ($4,000 DK). What a way to come back after injury. Debrusk had seven shots on goal and even though he only got an assist it was not for lack of trying. Did you see the closest no goal ever? He is playing with a chip on his shoulder and all he sees is the net right now. It will happen.
Alexis Lafreniere – W ($3,000 DK) got a bump to the second line as we already mentioned. He is not a superstar yet and we are more patient than most but we notice when he gets the added opportunities to display why he was taken first overall and we take that.
Torey Krug – D ($5,900 DK). The Blues look to be in a bit of trouble after having the Coyotes do more damage than expected in this six game brawl. Krug will look to help right the ship as he carries the power play. His shooting percentage is a bit low right now but that says bad puck luck more than anything. Like Debrusk he is due.
Jacob Chychrun – D ($5,000 DK). Torey Krug’s foil on the other side of the ice is still seeing extra playing time with Oliver Ekman-Larsson sidelined. He has been playing admirably and we are excited to watch the matchup between these two offensively minded defensemen.
Jacob Trouba – U ($3,900 DK) got us what we needed last game with some shots and some blocks. He plays that role again tonight against a Bruins team that just unloads pucks at opposing teams. Just to be clear we are not looking for offensive upside. Instead we are looking at a player that should give us solid peripherals for a decent price.
Get out there and crush it guys. Tell us about your successes on Twitter (@FantasyDFSX) and have a killer weekend. Happy Friday!
