Amid postponements and shuffling schedules the NHL season continues to charge forward. By weeks end several teams will be about a third of a way through their regular season. We are working diligently here to try and keep abreast of as many situations as possible to dig up great value for you. Did you play Ilya Mikheyev yesterday? Our utility guy and cheapest pick scored us a goal and those are the types of wins that keep us motivated.

Here’s a broad lineup For DFS Hockey 2/11/21 (using DraftKings Values)

Center  $7,000
CenterS. Crosby $6,500
Wing                                         $7,100
Wing  $2,900
Wing  $2,800
Defense  $5,600
DefenseK. Letang $5,000
Goalie  $8,300
UtilityK. Stenlund $2,900

We are going light on the freebies tonight as we think there is just too much value to be handing out for nothing. We also want to take this time to highlight how to use our format. We are not out here trying to tell you the exact lineup to take. We want to give you a base of solid players and some flexibility with your money to go after star players you have your eye on. If you add up the budget from our main list today you will see that we left you almost $2,000 extra to work with! Start your free month now to see how we can enhance your fantasy experience.

We are really liking the deals on Sidney Crosby and Kris Letang right now. Pittsburgh is in the middle of the most average season possible but they still have heaps of talent to draft. They have a tough assignment against a defensively sound Islanders team but we are not phased by it. Use the savings and the comfort of their ceiling to go after your favorite hyped guys.

Kevin Stenlund is a hidden gem that is coming to the surface in Columbus. He has missed games due to injury but since coming back has posted three points in three games. He has impressed so much that he was promoted to second line center and has some sneaky weapons on his wings. For bare minimum cost you get a guy that has a rare opportunity with the talent to back it up.

Now what do you get if you sign up now?
A goalie that will see a ton of shots.
An offensive powerhouse who is not getting enough attention.
More cheap wingers who are climbing the ranks fast.

Alexander Barkov – C ($7,000 DK) has quietly been returning to form. The Panthers season started later than others but they have been a force to be reckoned with. The tilt tonight against the Lightning should be amazing. Florida now has two legit teams and the battle will be epic.

Patrik Laine – W ($7,100 DK) is still underpriced. Forget about the benching last game it means nothing in the long run. He is settling into his new digs and his shiny new center Jack Roslovic is absolutely crushing it. Columbus’ center situation is ever evolving but Laine’s position at the top will not change.

Warren Foegele – W ($2,900 DK). We have hyped Foegele before and it is not just because we own him in our dynasty league. His ice time is slowly climbing and he has four points in his last four games. He is one of our secret weapons and he can be one of yours now too.

Mason Appleton – W ($2,800 DK) is in the same tier as Foegele. We were watching a Jets game the other day and could not help but notice that we hear his name being mentioned more often. It helps that as Winnipeg integrates Pierre Luc-DuBois into the lineup that Appleton benefits the most. Stay tuned.

Darnell Nurse – D ($5,600 DK) is a straight up wrecking ball in Edmonton. We do not care that he never seems to maintain top power play time since he just gets the job done. He eats pucks for breakfast and spits them out at opponents in the evening.

Connor Hellebuyck – G ($8,300 DK) is one of the few pure workhorses left in the league. He does not have a great defense in front of him but that is ok because while there is some added risk there is also added reward in more shots to stop. The Senators may not win a lot but it is not for lack of trying.

That is it for today as our parting gift is all the money you need to enhance the lineup where you would like. We hope that this format makes the game more fun and rewarding for you. If you like what we have to offer go hype us up on Twitter (@FantasyDFSX). Get ready for a great weekend of hockey ahead. Cheers.
