Get in while the getting is good! We have three games today and we are so ready to get our picks in. There are three games on the slate today and some somewhat obvious choices. The first one is the San Jose Sharks over the Arizona Coyotes. They will be our featured free players today. Goalie situations across the board all look like backups so we will need to guide you through that. One would assume the Tampa Bay Lightning will take down the Laval Rocket. Wait, the Montreal Canadiens. Then we will be choosing the Vegas Golden Knights over the Los Angeles Kings.

The play is still always to pick against the Arizona Coyotes. James Reimer will be the one to stop them. He is surpassing Adin Hill as the Sharks starter and continues to age well. With 15 games under his belt this season he is letting up less than two goals per game. That is insane.
Timo Meier is a huge reason why Sharks goalies can feel safe in their net. He has been flirting with being in the top ten for points per game. He is on an absolute tear and is a must own. He will be paired with our centerman for you today.
Logan Couture is a premier talent in this league. He fell off for a couple years amid injuries and at the same time that the Sharks started to fall off from their Stanley Cup Final days. He is a long pedigree of success and must be very happy to have Timo on his wing.

The Golden Knights defensive corp is in rough shape right. Pietrangelo, Martinez and more are sidelined which makes way for two studs that we feature on the not so regular. Shea Theodore was the heir apparent before Pietrangelo was brought in. He still has tons of fire power and will be happy to munch top pairing minutes. Alongside him will be Zach Whitecloud. This undrafted beast out of Bemidji State has been steadily earning experience and flying under most people’s radar. We are super curious to see what he does with this opportunity.
Jonathan Marchessault is the next must own Knight. With Stone and Pacioretty being day-to-day we should see Marchy get some top line action with Chandler Stephenson. That will be a fun pair to play together. If you want to save a ton and go after a big maybe, then take Barrett Hayton. He just got called up from Tucson and really needs to make a splash. It looks like he will have the chance as he is penciled in on the top line with Clayon Keller and Nick Schmaltz. Not the worst line in the world facing not the best goalie in the world.
The second line center situation in Tampa is very fluid at the moment. We want to take Alex Killornif Brayden Point is in. Otherwise we are spending a little more on Ondrej Palat. We will have a couple more cheap wingers to help make that decision for you.
Nick Schmaltz is honestly a solid choice to pair with Hayton. He will surprise you on occasion and this might be it. If you are fading Arizona hard then get back on the Cole Caufield train. The Habs roster right now is hilarious and is in fact more Laval than Montreal. There are some interesting prospects playing tonight, so even if the team does not get the W there should be some good development for the program.
We are happy to be back and getting into the grind. It may not last but we will let you know on Twitter (@FantasyDFSX) when articles drop. Get your tortillas ready and have a great week.
