Marc-Andre Fleury got his 500th career win on the back of a shutout. We had him as our first choice yesterday before going on the fools errand of only taking young players. Congratulations to him for a storied career and for having to have battled through so much to get here.

There are a few big games to pay attention to today. The Florida Panthers are going to feast on the Arizona Coyotes, the Colorado Avalanche will have their hands full with the Detroit Red Wings, and the Vegas Golden Knights are going to skewer the Philadelphia Flyers.

Here’s a sunny lineup For DFS Hockey 12/10/21 (using DraftKings Values)

DefenseA. Ekblad$7,700

GoalieS. Bobrovsky$8,400

Sergei Bobrovsky is back on the case! Give that man his gun and his badge. The Florida Panthers may put up a snowman on the Arizona Coyotes tonight. If you are not familiar with the term it means that they may put up 8 goals. The eight looks like a…yeah you get it.

Alexander Barkov got back on the ice so quickly we did not even notice and then he scored a goal. That injury is not a concern anymore. The captain of the cats will be spearheading the charge against the desert dogs and they do not stand a chance.

It was heartbreaking last year to see Aaron Ekblad go down. He was having a phenomenal season and to have it cut short hurt the league as a whole. He has clearly done everything in rehab that he needed because he is putting on a show every night. We say it often, but seriously, watch this guy play for a few shifts and you will understand.

Max Pacioretty is having a blast right now. Wait until Jack Eichel gets back from the injured reserve list. That line is going to be terrifying. Mark Stone is just as good an option and does come at a steep discount. As much as we talked about the youth yesterday, this line in particular is going to lead the change in how the NHL is played and viewed. They make it fun.

We are going way down the line for our other center. Dawson Mercer is a fresh face in the league. He was drafted 18th overall by the New Jersey Devils in the 2020 entry draft. He is already making a significant impact, which is impressive given how young he is. For a couple hundred bucks more you can also get William Karlsson if you are not already sick of all the gold in the lineup.

All we want to take today is Panthers and Knights. We will attempt to add some other flavor for you, but understand that it is difficult. Andre Burakovsky and Brock Boeser are great cheap options. The Avalanche are crushing it as usual and the Canucks have been rejuvenated by the coaching change. They are perfect stocking stuffers.

Keep on the Colorado train with Logan O’Connor. We do not want to even start gushing about him yet because he is still just getting going. He is a serious threat and is going to do great things with this group.

Round out the day with someone like Pius Suter who had a fluke night with 0 points yesterday. That will afford you someone like Quinn Hughes or Shayne Gostisbehiere for your other defenseman.

Stay cool and enjoy the weekend. Pop on over to Twitter (@FantasyDFSX) for all the important updates. Have a good one.
