Yesterday was a solid day after a week of goalie nonsense and other near misses. Our main lineup would have gotten you pretty far and our picks behind the wall saw solid success. We got burnt by Jakub Vrana getting sick last minute but that is just how the season has been going. Did you go after our sneaky stack? Sam Bennett and Anthony Duclair combined for a goal, two assists and six shots. Those are the wins that keep us excited.
After the resurgence of some of the lesser teams in the league and Vancouver’s jaw dropping win over Toronto there are really not a lot of obvious matchups to go after. It’s going to be a tough day but we will manage. The big one to key in on will be the Florida Panthers vs the Columbus Blue Jackets. That is the highest likelihood of a blowout and we have a special player surprise. Stay tuned.

Goalie | S. Knight | $7,900

Alexander Barkov is having a career year and is safely over a point per game territory right now. The matchup against Columbus has our eyes wide. The Blue Jackets are in disarray right now and the Panthers are comfortably atop the division. With our special guest needing a win tonight, put your chips on Florida.
Jonathan Huberdeau. A question we are asking ourselves is: when does Florida put Huberdeau back on Barkovs line? Do they not need to, even come playoffs? This is just below the McDavid and Draisaitl pairing level and when they play together it is magic. Huberdeau bolsters the second line with our special stack from yesterday and is always a good choice.
Keith Yandle is a power play specialist. The Panthers are missing Ekblad and Weegar and will very much need Yandle to step up. It is a little bit of a risky proposition as he is a one trick pony at this point in his career but we feel good about his chances tonight. Sonk!
Spencer Knight! The long awaited rival of the prince is here. A first round draft pick in 2019, Knight is the heir apparent to Sergei Bobrovsky. He is an incredibly athletic and gifted talent. A first game for a goalie is always a little nerve wracking but the boys will be firing on all cylinders to get him the W.

Center | A. Barkov | $8,200
Center | J. Benn | $5,200 | |
Wing | J. Huberdeau | $6,400
Wing | O. Wahlstrom | $2,700
Wing | N. Roberston | $2,500
Defense | D. Hamilton | $7,200
Defense | K. Yandle | $3,900
Goalie | S. Knight | $7,900
Utility | J. Robertson | $6,000 |
Jamie Benn – C is happy to be centering the Stars’ second line while Roope Hintz continues to tear it up in the top spot. He has noted sniper Denis Gurianov on his wing and as much as Detroit is surging right now, there is an end to that. The Stars need these points more as they make a case for that wildcard spot.
Oliver Wahlstrom – W. The Islanders disappointed us in their last game and the shuffled lineup with Barzal on the wing and assorted injuries was just not clicking. Their third line however should be the most consistent and we like everyone on it. Wahlstrom is always a threat for a goal so we will take this cheap swing.
Nick Robertson – W. The first of today’s Robertsons has been chomping at the bit to get back into Toronto’s lineup. Between the trades and injuries he is finally getting his chance. He has two games recently under his belt and he performed decently enough. This guy only cares about scoring goals though and is looking for the first of his season.
Dougie Hamilton – D. We are going big on this defenseman who cannot stop scoring points. Rarely does a game go by that he does not get at least a few shots and he is more than willing to put his body on the line to get you some blocks.
Jason Robertson – U has been having an unreal year and it has been difficult for the media to keep up and give him the appreciation he deserves. He is a big reason for Hintz’s success this year. For a 21 year old rookie to cost $6,000 lets you know what kind of season he is having. Get after it.
We are feeling good about this one and could use a big win. This league is crazy and you never know what is going to happen. Check us out on Twitter (@FantasyDFSX) to get updates on all the daily fantasy sports we have on offer. Happy Taco Tuesday!
