The week is starting with a bang. Eight games and some juicy matchups. The big one of the night will be the Tampa Bay Lightning vs the Carolina Hurricanes. This one might get heated as the two try to take the top position in their division. The Florida Panthers are making adjustments with their new acquisitions and will be trying to lock in lineups against the Columbus Blue Jackets. The Montreal Canadiens are having a tough time right now and are up against a hungry Edmonton Oilers. So much to choose from!

Here’s a rowdy lineup For DFS Hockey 4/19/21 (using DraftKings Values)

CenterC. McDavid$9,200
Center
WingB. Tkachuk$7,500
Wing
Wing
DefenseA. Pietrangelo$5,900
Defense
GoalieM. Smith$7,800
Utility $4,800

Connor McDavid became the first player to 70 points this season and did so in just 43 games played. Those are video game numbers. There are only a few weeks left in the season and he would have to average 2.2 points per game to hit one hundred. Why does that not feel out of the question?

Brady Tkachuk is going to terrorize this league for years to come. He and his band of sickos may not have the record they would like but they do not seem to care. They know they are young and talented and that they will put everything together. Tkachuk will be the one leading them into battle each and every night.

Alex Pietrangelo seems to be one hundred percent after missing some time. He has been a force since returning and he makes a big difference. The Golden Knights back end is stacked with talent, but Pietrangelo is still the boss.

Mike Smith. As of writing this, not a single goalie has been confirmed. Smith is coming off a great shutout against the Winnipeg Jets and is likely to get the nod over Mikko Koskinen who is having a season to forget. As with every goalie, double check before you draft them.

Now what do you get if you sign up for $99 now

  • Newly traded players settling into their new homes
  • A winger who finally got his center back

Here’s a rowdy lineup For DFS Hockey 4/19/21 (using DraftKings Values)

CenterC. McDavid$9,200
CenterS. Bennett$2,600
WingB. Tkachuk$7,500
WingA. Duclair$4,000
WingJ. Vrana$4,200
DefensePietrangelo$5,900
DefenseA. Montour$4,000
GoalieM. Smith$7,800
UtilityM. Necas$4,800

Sam Bennett – C seems to have landed in some nice new surroundings. He was not having a great season with the Flames and is now playing with the Panthers. He is being given second line center duties and managed to pick up two assists in his last game. We will be stacking him with another winger who is recently back in the lineup and is also heating up.

Anthony Duclair – W joins Bennett on his wing. He has been solid since his return and has two goals in his last two games. We are looking forward to seeing how they blend with Jonathan Huberdeau for a couple games and hopefully this second line carousel will come to a stop.

Jakub Vrana – W was one of the big surprise moves at the trade deadline. He did not find himself in a better spot having moved from a top team to a bottom feeder. That said he is on the top line now and that kind of chip on your shoulder can produce results. Let’s see what he is made of.

Brandon Montour – D. It is weird seeing him in a Florida jersey as we were so used to seeing him in a Sabres uniform. He is only 27 years old and is approaching the amount of games played where one would expect a breakout to start happening. Interesting situation for the young man.

Martin Necas – U fell off our radar for a little bit but we are excited that he is back. There is a good chance Vincent Trochek’s injury was what hampered him a little bit but with his center back he is working his way back on the score sheet. Tough matchup but this one should be playoff level intensity.

The week begins anew and we are gearing up for some great articles. The playoff picture continues to solidify and we will be hunting for value the entire time. Find us on Twitter (@FantasyDFSX) to stay abreast of everything we are working on. Take care.
