NHL DFS Picks For April 14, 2021

Mark Scheifle DFS
VANCOUVER, BC - FEBRUARY 19: Winnipeg Jets center Mark Scheifele (55) and goaltender Laurent Brossoit (30) celebrate after their NHL game against the Vancouver Canucks at Rogers Arena on February 19, 2021 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. (Photo by Derek Cain/Icon Sportswire)

Yesterday was fun. Can there be more trade deadline days so we can play differently with our roster? We understand why Taylor Hall had the assist taken off the board as it was closer to a half turnover than an actual pass, but did the other team really have possession? Mantha came up huge with a goal, an assist and six shots. We will call it even. We also have one traded player that we are glad we held off on because he did not end up playing. We will be going after him soon. Stay tuned.

Here’s a chill lineup For DFS Hockey 4/14/21 (using DraftKings Values)

CenterM. Scheifele$7,200
Center
Wing
WingA. Copp$5,800
Wing
Defense
DefenseD. Toews$5,200
GoalieR. Lehner$8,400
Utility $3,900

Mark Scheifele has a fantastic matchup tonight against Matt Murray. There is almost no way Murray lets in fewer than three and so we will be going after a couple of Winnipeg Jets players to take advantage. Scheifele is the maestro there and he will work his magic.

Andrew Copp seems to have found a consistent spot on the top line which is quite an impressive feat. Subscribers will know that we lean on this guy quite a bit and he has saved our bacon on more than one occasion. With continually growing minutes and a larger role we expect him to take the next step in his development.

Devon Toews is another player that holds value better than most. His high peripherals make him a sexy option when we are a little unsure of who to go after. He has been a solid addition to an already scary Avalanche defense.

Robin Lehner comes with the usual goalie warning. Please double check to make sure Marc-Andre Fleury has not been put in instead. Flowers play has dropped off a little bit though and we think Lehner will get his second game in a row. He himself is on a hot streak and Vegas is within striking distance of the top of the division.

Now what do you get if you sign up for $99 now

  • A mini stack from Ottawa
  • A high floor defenseman
  • One of our favorite up and coming centermen

Here’s a chill lineup For DFS Hockey 4/14/21 (using DraftKings Values)

CenterM. Scheifele$7,200
CenterJ. Anderson-Dolan$3,600
WingK. Connor$7,600
WingA. Copp$5,800
WingE. Dadonov$2,900
DefenseT. Chabot$5,400
DefenseD. Toews$5,200
GoalieR. Lehner$8,400
UtilityD. Batherson$3,900

Jaret Anderson-Dolan – C has flown under a lot of radars with the other high profile names in the Kings pipeline. Turcotte and Byfield will get their chance next year but right now Jaret is the one holding the line behind Anze Kopitar. He is building a strong case to keep that spot next year even when the other young studs come up.

Kyle Connor – W. We are actually going with the whole top line in Winnipeg today. This super stack has it all and will give it all to try and best the Ottawa Senators. Connor is one goal shy of 20 on the year and we find it hard to believe that will not happen tonight.

Evgenii Dadonov – W is part of a sneaky mini stack that we have put together with our soon to be revealed utility player. While Murray may have a tough night so will Laurent Broissoit on the other side of the ice. The Jets backup goalie has been playing pretty well but there is a reason he does not get more starts. We are rooting for a high scoring game in any case.

Thomas Chabot – D used to score goals and we are not sure why it has not been happening this season. In the absence of Quinn Hughes we are looking for someone who is good at taking shots and dishing assists on the power play. Chabot is our guy.

Drake Batherson – U rounds out our Senators stack today. He had been spending a lot of time down on the third line but we are seeing him spending more time in the top tier. He can be a little streaky but we will take the promotion and matchup against a backup goalie.
