NHL DFS Picks For April 11, 2021

DFS Picks for NHL on 4/11/21

Apparently if we say a player’s name three times as the reason why you should draft them they score a hat trick? No. We are not particularly superstitious over here at FantasyDFSExperts but we are not playing that game. Our laptop will probably melt if we were to try that again. Matthews and Marner are continuing their tour of domination and it is nothing short of spectacular.

We will be going hard after the Colorado Avalanche today who have a great matchup against the Anaheim Ducks. We will also be dabbling in the Dallas Stars game and even taking one of their opponents. There is not much else to call out so let’s get down to business.

Here’s a frosty lineup For DFS Hockey 4/11/21 (using DraftKings Values)

CenterN. MacKinnon$8,900
WingJ. Donskoi$5,000
DefenseS. Girard$4,800
GoalieP. Grubauer$8,400
Utility $5,200

Nathan MacKinnon has helped lead the Avs to the top spot in the West division and is showing no signs of slowing down. He has nearly an assist per game and then just tosses 15 goals on top of that. Insane.

Joonas Donskoi. We could have gone with Rantanen or Landeskog but we wanted to find you a little deeper value and Donskoi hits the mark. He has been a bit overshadowed by the top line but he has found his way onto the top power play and that always bodes well.

Sam Girard has been making our list more consistently in recent weeks as he is just a solid value. Good peripherals and the occasional point. He is above Cale Makar on the depth chart and plays a ton of minutes. What is not to like?

Phillip Grubauer. We are not totally sure why he is not the full $8,500 but hey we will take that $100 savings. Amazing offense and amazing defense are in front of him and he has the skills to back that up.

Now what do you get if you sign up for $99 now

  • A shifty center for our utility spot
  • A puck eating defenseman
  • Wingers punching above their weight

Here’s a frosty lineup For DFS Hockey 4/11/21 (using DraftKings Values)

CenterN. MacKinnon$8,900
CenterR. Hintz$6,200
WingJ. Donskoi$5,000
WingC. Smith$4,300
WingL. Kunin$3,000
DefenseS. Girard$4,800
DefenseE. Lindell$4,100
GoalieP. Grubauer$8,400
UtilityJ. McCann$5,200

Roope Hintz – C. We are a little late to this party and we do acknowledge that Hintz is playing through injury but he is still lighting it up. The kid is good and has done very well for himself on Dallas’ top line. There is still an undetermined time until Tyler Seguin returns so expect Hintz to keep this spot for a while.

Craig Smith – W is in the same boat as Galchenyuk was yesterday. He is on the same line as Patrice Bergeron and Brad Marchand which gives him all the opportunity in the world. He is also a puck hound. He grinds every shift and never takes a second off.

Luke Kunin – W. Sure he had a dud game against the Lightning but there is a silver lining here. He managed three shots and has done that a few games in a row. He has a strong base and is playing on a surging Predators squad. Look for him to shake off last game and get back to work.

Esa Lindell – D is a peripheral beast. Few guys in the league put their bodies on the line and in the way pucks than Lindell. There is a good chance he eats a few of Kunin’s bombs and will do everything he can to stymie the Preds.

Jared McCann – U has been phenomenal in Malkin’s absence. Centering the second line and playing a huge role in the Penguins power play, McCann does it all. We are always pumped to get a decently pricey center in our utility spot and Jared is just what the doctor ordered.

There is a player that is in one of the early games that is just getting his first reps in the NHL that we were a little bummed not to be able to pick. Stay tuned because we should be able to roster him sometime this week. Follow us on Twitter (@FantasyDFSX) if you have not and stay up to date with everything we are working on. Happy Sunday!
