NHL DFS Picks For April 10, 2021

Peter Mrazek DFS
RALEIGH, NC - APRIL 06: Carolina Hurricanes goaltender Petr Mrazek (34) during the 2nd period of the Carolina Hurricanes vs Florida Panthers on April 6th, 2021 at PNC Arena in Raleigh, NC (Photo by Jaylynn Nash/Icon Sportswire)

We have a few matchups today that we are looking at that could end up being heavily one sided affairs. The Toronto Maple Leafs vs the Ottawa Senators, the Carolina Hurricanes vs the Detroit Red Wings, and the Edmonton Oilers vs the Calgary Flames will compromise the bulk of who we are targeting. Get ready for a crazy next few weeks as all the postponed games need to get made up and teams have to play up to five games in a week!

Here’s an awesome lineup For DFS Hockey 4/10/21 (using DraftKings Values)

CenterA. Matthews$9,300
Center
WingZ. Hyman$5,900
Wing
Wing
DefenseN. Pionk$4,000
Defense
GoalieP. Mrazek$8,500
Utility $4,100

Auston Matthews. Auston Matthews. Auston Matthews.

Zach Hyman will be filling in the second line with William Nylander out. It does not happen often but he has gelled with John Tavares in the past. We will see if off wing Ilya Mikheyev also uses his increased ice time in a game against a weak Senators team.

Neal Pionk leads all Jets defensemen in points right now and offers a decent peripheral package. The more power play time he sees the better. He is on the second unit right now but they get deployed pretty evenly.

Peter Mrazek is finally back! He had started the season off amazing but then got injured. The Hurricanes are happy to have him again and he has picked up right where he left off with two wins and a shutout.

Now what do you get if you sign up for $99 now

  • Some Carolina goodness to package with Mrazek
  • Other wingers who are getting promotions today
  • A defenseman that is rounding out his game quicker than anticipated

Here’s an awesome lineup For DFS Hockey 4/10/21 (using DraftKings Values)

CenterA. Matthews$9,300
CenterV. Trocheck$7,300
WingZ. Hyman$5,900
WingCopp$4,700
WingGalchenyuk$3,000
DefenseN. Pionk$4,000
DefenseE. Cernak$3,200
GoalieP. Mrazek$8,500
UtilityJ. Puljujarvi$4,100

Vincent Trocheck – C keeps scoring against his old team the Florida Panthers and we are here for it. He does not get to play them today but it does not matter because he is on absolute fire right now. Priced above Aho for good reason he may as well be the number one right now.

Andrew Copp – W. Has been a great late add for us on occasion and that was when he was on the third line. He has been promoted up to the top line in Winnipeg and all we will say is that this is a bargain basement deal. All upside.

Alex Galchenyuk – W. Galch has been making the list a lot lately and it is hard not to take him. He has increased his value by working his way to the top line in Toronto. Playing with Matthews and Marner is the dream.

Erik Cernak – D is picking up on Hedman’s tricks and what was once a prototypical stay at home defenseman is now joining rushes and getting more pucks on net. He is worth keeping an eye on.

Jesse Puljujarvi – U. Edmonton is doing the thing again. They put McDavid and Draisaitl on the top line together. They must mean business with this move. Poolparty is just hanging out on their wing soaking it all up a  lot like Galchenyuk. Make it rain, kid.

We hope you had a great week and are getting to chill out and relax. It is time for us to turn on the early games and get into some snacks. Holla atcha boy on Twitter (@FantasyDFSX). Take care.
