NFL DFS Thanksgiving Day Week 12 Advice

Dak Prescott isn't on the Eagles
ARLINGTON, TX - DECEMBER 29: Dallas Cowboys Quarterback Dak Prescott (4) drops back to pass during the NFC East game between the Dallas Cowboys and Washington Redskins on December 29, 2019 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, TX. (Photo by Andrew Dieb/Icon Sportswire)

Thanksgiving is all about the three F’s…. Food, Family, and Football. Let’s dive into this three game slate and make it an even spicier holiday. One tradition that has been frustrating every year is watching the Detroit Lions, who have been the laughing stock of the league. David Montgomery of the Bears is in a smash spot against the Lions, who in their previous matchup ran for over 100 yards and a touchdown.

On the other hand, we do get Dallas every year also, who have been much easier on the eyes to enjoy over a turkey leg. They get the Raiders, who have lost the last three games and are eager to get back in the win column. But they will have to go through Dak Prescott at home, who is coming off one of his poorest performances last week against the Chiefs, scoring only nine points with no touchdowns. Dak will be back tonight, pass the gravy.

The headliner is Buffalo at New Orleans, which looks to be a get right game for the Bills defense, who were humiliated at home last week by Jonathon Taylor’s five touchdowns. The Saints have already announced star running back Alvin Kamara to miss his third straight contest. Taylor may have been like a buzz saw to the so called number one rush defense of the Bills, but without Kamara, the Saints will be one dimensional.

Studs:

Quarterback – Josh Allen ($7,800 DK/$8,800 FD) The Saints seem to struggle against mobile quarterbacks, as we saw Phila’s Jalen Hurts run them over with 69 yards on the ground and three touchdowns. Allen will be looking to bounce back from a tough loss last week and out perform Hurts’ game as the best dual threat quarterback today.

Running Back – D’Andre Swift ($7,300 DK/$8,000 FD) Is the only bright spot in Detroit, as he is the only source of offense the Lions have in the motor city. He’s rushed for 130 yards in two straight games, scoring one touchdown and will be hard to fade from a lineup.

Wide Receiver – Darnell Mooney ($5,700 DK/$6,800 FD) Saw 16 targets from back up veteran Andy Dalton on Sunday, who will get another start. The Bears will be without fellow wideout Allen Robinson again, so expect Mooney to be heavily relied upon again by Chicago, as he put up a fat stat line of 5-121-1 for 26 FPTS. in Baltimore.

Tight End – Dalton Schultz ($5,300 DK/$6,000 FD) Dallas will be without receiver Amari Cooper and CeeDee Lamb entering the game questionable, Schultz should see an uptick in targets and grabs from a Raider defense who ranks 27th in defending opposing tight ends.

Fade:

Running Back – Mark Ingram ($6,200 DK/$6,600 FD) The veteran has been rejuvenated being back in New Orleans and has heavily used in the absence of Kamara. But facing his own injuries now and a tougher opponent in a short week, it would not be a good choice to roster Ingram, not to mention his salary has been bumped up drastically too.

Value Plays:

Wide Receiver -Cedrick Wilson ($3,500 DK/$5,600 FD) will line up as the third receiver in place of Amari CooperWilson caught four for 36 yards on Sunday, and will keep in the mix of the offense again tonight.

Wide Receiver – Marquise Goodwin ($3,800 DK/$5,400 FD) Is questionable but if he can get on the field he will have a much larger role as Allen Robinson has been given a doubtful tag, as he did a nice job filling in last week for four grabs for 104 yards and a touchdown.

General Strategy:

In these small slates, we need to decide who will win each game, and use the winning team players. So if we like Dallas to make a statement against Vegas tonight, Buffalo to rebound, or Detroit to pull out an upset at home, mix and match from those teams. Also check their game logs, targets and rushing attempts are crucial information to roster players who get the volume.

Now go and win with your lineup and let us know how you did.
