NFL DFS Saturday Two Game Slate Advice – Week 18

Tyreek Hill DFS Pick
BALTIMORE, MD - SEPTEMBER 28: Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes (15) pitches the ball out to wide receiver Tyreek Hill (10) under pressure by Baltimore Ravens cornerback Marcus Peters (24)during the Kansas City Chiefs game versus the Baltimore Ravens on September 28, 2020 at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, MD. So we are finally approaching the end of the NFL season and we get a little taste of it on Saturday. The Chiefs need to win in order to try and lock up the number one seed in the AFC in Denver. Following up with a meaningless NFC East division game between the Cowboys and Eagles, where a win for either side will not make much of a difference as far as their playoff picture goes.

We’ll be taking a look at a Classic format on DraftKings where we will have players from all four teams. First for quarterback, there is only one clear and obvious choice, and that is Patrick Mahomes. Kansas City must win, and have the tools to get there. Although the match up isn’t the greatest at Denver, the motivation is there.

Now let’s pair up our quarterback, and no one else better goes with Mahomes than a side of Tyreek Hill. The duo has hooked up for 112 receptions, over 1,200 yards and nine touchdowns in 16 games. What about Travis Kelce you ask? Well throw him in too, why not? It will be a chalky play this Saturday but it’s good chalk to be able to start all three key pieces to the Chiefs’ offense.

We will still need a few players from the later Dallas/Philadelphia game though, and it’s loaded with value. Since Phila is plagued with COVID and the fact that a win or loss does not really affect their playoff seat, they may play it safe and rest their starters. Rookie running back Kenny Gainwell, who has been out of the rotation for the later part of the season, will pretty much own the shares of touches on Saturday night. Miles Sanders is injured, Boston Scott, and Jordan Howard were bit by COVID, Gainwell is the last back standing in Phila.

Studs We Like:

Quarterback:

Dak Prescott ($6,800 DK/$7,700 FD) Even though he may not play the entire game, he could still put up a decent game. He’s had to rely on his arm in his last two games, throwing it almost 40 times, connecting on five touchdowns. And with Dallas’ running game less than 100 percent, Prescott should throw it to win and try to secure the two seed.

Running Back:

Darrel Williams ($5,900 DK/$7,000 FD) He will own the bulk of the backfield for Kansas City as Clyde Edwards-Helaire will sit out. Williams has started in place for CEH plenty this season and has benefitted greatly, earning a solid role in the offense. Williams has scored a total of eight touchdowns, rushed for 541 yards and caught 44 balls for 442 yards for the season.

Wide Receiver:

CeeDee Lamb ($6,800 DK/$7,400 FD) He’s been quiet and has not reached 20 plus fantasy points since November. Dallas may look to revive their former first round pick to get him ready for the playoffs.

Devonta Smith ($6,100 DK/$6,000 FD) He’s the only healthy set of hands to throw to that can catch the ball in Phila. Dallas Goedert may not be off the COVID list by gametime.

Tight Ends

Dalton Schultz ($5,300 DK/$6,100 FD) Prescott leans and trusts his tight end, especially the games without Michael Gallup. In the games without him, Shultz averaged six catches a game. The Eagles also surrender plenty of fantasy points to opposing tight ends and rank 30th in the league.

Noah Fant ($5,000 DK/$5,900 FD) Denver’s QB Drew Lock built a strong connection over the passed two seasons up until he lost his starting job to Teddy Bridgewater this year. Lock is back and will look for Fant to get open against the Chiefs, as the duo linked up last game for six receptions, 92 yards, and a touchdown.

Fade:

Ezekiel Elliott ($6,700 DK/$7,600 FD) He’s been playing with a bad knee for most of the season, do not expect a full workload even with Tony Pollard out. This game is not that important to risk further injuring their lead back.

Value:

Cedrick Wilson ($4,200 DK/$5,600 FD) will have a larger role again now that Michael Gallupwas placed on IR for the rest of the year. Wilson has stepped up when called upon, in the games Gallup has missed he’s put up double digit fantasy points, weeks 10, 13, and 16 he’s scored 17, 14, and 16 FPTS.

Cory Clement ($4,000 DK/$5,000 FD) The former Eagle now Cowboy may see some increased usage against his old team, back up running back Tony Pollard won’t play today. This could also play out as a homecoming revenge game for Clement, who spent his entire career since 2017 with the Eagles, and also helped win Super Bowl LII executing part of the game winning play… The Philly Special.
