NFL DFS Monday Night Showdown (NYG @ TB) Advice – Week 11

It’s Monday night and the GOAT will try to break the Bucs two game losing streak at home versus the New York Giants. Tom Brady has not lost three games in a row since 2002, which was his first full season in the NFL. He should be able to keep that record going strong against the 3-6 Giants as well as put up a decent stat line tonight in front of the home crowd.

New York was bit by injuries this year, mainly to the offense, as their defense has been improving as they took down the Raiders before their bye week. But they will need to put points up on the board tonight, and Daniel Jones will need to do it through the air, as New York’s running game is still pretty banged up, with Saquon Barkley and Devin Booker being unable to handle a full work load.

Here’s a look at a Monday Night NFL DFS Showdown Core (NYG @ TB) (using DraftKings Values).

Captain/MVP:

Leonard Fournette ($15,000DK/$11,500FD) The Giants have been murdered on the ground by opposing running backs this season, especially one who are able to catch out of the backfield. We expect Brady to check down a decent amount tonight, as well as the Bucs to get out to a big enough lead and run the ball in the second half. Fournette has established himself as the bell cow three-down back for the Bucs and will receive plenty of work.

Who to Fade:

Rob Gronkowski ($6,200 DK/$10,000 FD) Has been unable to practice all week yet stay on the field since week four. He is questionable going into tonight, but even if he does suit up he is not worth the risk.

Studs That We Also Like:

Chris Godwin ($9,400 DK/$12,500 FD) The Giants have been playing decent defense in the pass game, but Brady is out for blood and will be looking to chuck it tonight. Since Mike Evans will see a lot of James BradberryGodwin should eat lining up in the slot.

Kenny Golladay ($7,000 DK/$9,500 FD) Is the healthiest of all the Giants’ wideouts this week, and they will be looking to get him the ball as he is their alpha dog receiver.

Kadarius Toney ($6,800 DK/$9,000 FD) Can be a firecracker when he gets the ball thrown to him. The Giants will need all hands on deck to beat the defending champs at home. In week 5 against Dallas Toney had a stat line of 10-185 for 32.5 DK FPTS.

Evan Engram ($6,600 DK/$8,000 FD) Tampa has been generous to opposing tight ends this season, even the third string WFT tight end John Bates last week caught three for 25 yards after starter Ricky Seals-Jones suffered an injury after catching three for 54 yards.

Value Plays:

O. J. Howard ($1,200 DK/$6,000 FD)  Can have another breakout tonight as Gronk is still not 100 percent. Although Howard will share snaps with Cameron Brate at tight end, he is the more athletic of the two with more YAC and upside of the two.

Jaelon Darden ($600 DK/$5,000 FD) As Antonio Brown remains out with an ankle injury, the rookie has earned some work at wide receiver in his absence. At his price especially on DK he is worth a dart throw.

General Strategy:

Again, Brady has not lost three games in a row since ’02, but the Giants will keep him honest, and he will need to work for this win. Stacking a receiver with The GOAT we’re not opposed too, just game script and volume makes Fournette a lot more likable, especially where we don’t really know who Brady may throw it more to tonight. Saquon Barkley would be a great GPP play, with know Vita Veya possibly on the line for the Bucs, he may have a great game if he can stay on the field.
