Week 14 is wrapping up in the desert tonight as two NFC West powerhouse teams battle for control of the division. The Rams are coming off a huge win in Jacksonville. Quarterback Matt Stafford got back on track throwing three touchdown passes and 295 yards. Kyler Murray and the Cards also showed signs of their offense clicking again, coming off a bye and missing four games with an ankle injury, Murray ran in two touchdowns and threw for two as well. Both Quarterbacks will be very needed in this single game slate as it looks to go back and forth tonight.

Captain/MVP:
Odell Beckham Jr. ($9,300 DK/$10,000 FD) has had his role in the offense increase each week since signing with the Rams, and with his much lower salary, would allow us to place both quarterbacks in our lineups on DraftKings. On FanDuel however, where pricing is steady, Kyler Murray ($17,000 FD), makes the most sense, because he spreads the ball around and rushing abilities, can put up a good score tonight.
Who to Fade:
Tyler Higbee ($5,000 DK/$7,500 FD) The Cardinals have been able to shut down opposing tight ends this season. Higbee has been pretty nonexistent this year for the Rams anyway, so stay clear of him tonight.
Other Studs We Like:
Cooper Kupp ($12,000 DK/$15,000 FD) Do we really need to explain why to click on Kupp? The guy has been the Rams offense since the start of the season, and could be named MVP if L.A. makes a run in the playoffs.
Van Jefferson ($8,000 DK/$11,000 FD) As Kupp will demand most of the attention from Arizona’s defense, Jefferson will get the more favorable matchup on paper and will be able to expose the Cardinals on the outside. Jefferson has scored in the last two contests and has had double-digit FPTS in both games.
James Connor ($9,600 DK/$13,500 FD) The Cardinals’ star back has 14 total touchdowns on the year and his career has been resurrected in Arizona. When inside the 20 yard line Connor has been the guy and has the stat sheet to prove it.
Sony Michel ($7,200 DK/$12,000 FD) Will be L.A.’s feature running back for the second game in a row as starter Darrell Henderson was placed on the COVID list. Michel torched the backfield last week rushing for 121 yards and a touchdown against Jacksonville.
Value Play:
Rondale Moore ($2,000 DK/$7,500 FD) The quick rookie has taken on a smaller role since DeAndre Hopkins and A.J. Green have gotten healthy. Moore can hit value in one big pass or end-around play tonight because of his low salary, and would be a great play on DK if a higher priced Captain were being used.
General Strategy:
Tonight should be an intense close game between division rivals, with plenty of scoring. Quarterback Kyler Murray likes to spread the love around, and is really tough to figure out each week who will catch a touchdown from him. But we need to decide on at least one, so let’s go Ertz, ($5,400 DK/$9,500 FD) as Arizona utilizes its tight ends in their offense. On the L.A. side, Michelmay be the only back if Henderson is in fact ruled out, so he is a lock for production, even in the passing game. But beware of Kupp, who may see a lot of Byron Murphy Jr. and double coverage in the slot, OBJ and Jefferson would make a better option and salary saver too tonight.
