Week six is here, and it couldn’t get here any sooner. Last week we saw top tier defenses get crushed as New England and Denver both allowed over 20 points to their weaker opponents. But we did get one DST right in Arizona, who did beat up on rookie quarterback Trey Lance and the Forty-Niners for eight fantasy points and 2.5 times value.

This week we have the byes starting up and we will be unable to target a couple teams that are pretty bad in the Jets and Falcons. The Jaguars who are also good to pick on, are off the main slate because they are in London.  But we do still have defenses out there with one due to injuries at the quarterback position.

LA Rams DST ($4,700 DK/$5,000 FD) are on the road against the banged up Giants. Not only is New York’s defense one of the worst in the league allowing 28 points per game, their entire offense has been downgraded due to injury. Saquon Barkley has already been ruled out to go along with a concussed questionable quarterback Daniel Jones. Oh, and all of their receivers are questionable too, so pay up for the Rams if you can.

Green Bay Packers DST ($3,600 DK/$4,200 FD) are in Chicago to face rookie quarterback Justin Fields. The Bears new signal caller has yet to throw a regular season touchdown pass, and will be facing a secondary featuring first round pick Eric Stokes and veteran Quinton Dunbar. The Bears seem to be lost on offense and are struggling to put points on the board because of the inexperience at QB.

Dallas Cowboys DST ($3,200 DK/$4,100 FD) has been playing well this season. Rookie Trevon Diggs has been a solid shutdown corner and having a breakout season.  Dallas has had 2 interceptions in every game so far this year with two of them being pick-sixes. They get Patriots’ rookie Mac Jones, who has thrown five interceptions so far this year…need I say more?

Panthers DST ($2,900 DK/$4,000 FD) Minnesota is coming into Carolina where the Panthers are tough to beat. Sam Darnold threw three picks last week which cost them the game, not Carolina’s defense who still managed an interception, fumble recovery, a safety, and two sacks against the lightning fast Jalen Hurts. This week they get Kirk Cousins who has had his moments buckling under pressure in his career due to his immobility.
