We nailed defense last week with the Browns, who were affordable at $2,700 on DraftKings, for 14 FPTS from the Ravens. Baltimore has been coughing up the ball left and right recently, mostly because of the poor play of quarterback Lamar Jackson.
This week should be very interesting, as COVID outbreaks have resurfaced again all over the league, forcing numerous NFL teams into intensive isolation. This is crucial information we are looking to use to our advantage when deciding on a defense. The NFL have already stated games will not get postponed due to COVID this year, so certain teams will be short handed on defense and offense.
Dallas Cowboys ($3,600 DK/$4,600 FD) have pummeled their last two opponents, putting up double digit FPTS. They’ve scored a touchdown in the past three games also, and may have another this weekend as they face a Giants team who may be starting their third string quarterback on Sunday.

Miami Dolphins ($3,700 DK/$5,000 FD) Have been playing insanely better defense lately, and coming out of a bye week at home, they ease back into a Jets team who love to turn the ball over. QB Zach Wilson just has not had much luck in his rookie season, and may not reach the end zone on Sunday.
Green Bay Packers ($3,300 DK/$4,500 FD) There’s blood in the water in Baltimore, as quarterback Lamar Jackson suffered an ankle injury against Cleveland last week. The Packers will look to put pressure and blitz a less than 100 percent Jackson and force him to scramble on that bum ankle, that’s if he goes.
Buffalo Bills ($3,100 DK/$4,500 FD) Are coming off two tough losses to the Bucs and Patriots, and need to win to stay in the playoff race. Carolina is in town with its quarterback carousel of fumblers and pick throwers. Whether it’s Newton, Walker, or even Darnold calling the plays, they will struggle to keep the ball away from Buffalo.
Denver Broncos ($2,900 DK/$4,000 FD) Cincinnati is at Mike High Stadium where Denver is tough to beat. The price on DK is very low, as in their last two contests at home they put up double digit fantasy points. Joe Burrow likes to throw the ball but it will not be easy against this Denver secondary.
Avoid Paying Up For:
Arizona Cardinals ($4,000 DK/$4,800 FD) Are pretty pricey because they are playing the worst team in football in the Lions. But Detroit has been playing better as of late, giving opponents a run for their money. Arizona has not really been a shut down defense either, as they’ve only allowed opponents to single digit point totals once this season. Not worth paying up for when you get the same amount of FPTS for much less on this slate.
