NFL DFS Main Slate Defense Advice – Week 10

Eagles vs. Pats preseason
PHILADELPHIA, PA - AUGUST 19: New England Patriots CB Joejuan Williams (33) tackles Philadelphia Eagles WR Jalen Reagor (18) on a reception in the first half during the game between the New England Patriots and Philadelphia Eagles on August 19, 2021 at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, PA. If you were behind the Paywall last week for defense, you killed it. Kansas City ($2,300 DK/$3,300 FD) got us 11 FPTS. and 5X on value. Green Bay started rookie Jordan Love at quarterback for Aaron Rodgers, who tested positive for Covid, and was missing every moment of the future hall of famer. Love threw a pick, was sacked, and only scored seven points. KC also blocked a punt.

Ok so on to Week 10, who will give us the most bang for our buck on defense? This one is on the house…

New England Patriots ($3,400 DK/$4,300 FD) When in doubt for defense, trust in the Pats. They’ve been scoring double digit fantasy points for the past three weeks, including a 20-burger against Sam Darnold and the Panthers last week. They are fairly priced on DK but a little steep on FanDuel.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers ($3,500 DK/$4,400 FD) Is fresh off their bye week and get Washington, who has been unable to score more than 13 points in their last three games. Against one of the toughest defenses in the league, well you do the math, single digits? The D will be out for blood, especially after allowing Trevor Siemian and the Saints pull off the upset win.

Arizona Cardinals ($3,700 DK/$4,800 FD) Have the Panthers at home, who have been struggling with Sam Darnold at quarterback. But he was placed on IR for a shoulder injury, so here comes former XFL stud P.J. Walker. We like the Cardinals to rattle his cage this week as he adjusts to his new role under center.

Tennessee Titans ($2,600 DK/$4,100 FD) Have turned their Defense around recently, pummeling the Chiefs and Rams on Monday night. Way too cheap on DK for this defense who has scored double digit fantasy points in the last three contests. They get the Saints at home, with a mediocre Siemian at QB and possibly be without their feature running back Alvin Kamara who has not practiced because of an injury.
