The NFL is heating up, Wildcard Weekend is over and brings us to what is looking like being the most exciting Divisional Round in football in years. Powerhouse teams will go head to head in the AFC and NFC, getting one step closer to the Super Bowl. Out of the six Wildcard games last week, five of six favorites stayed alive.
The red hot San Fransisco Forty-Niners upset the Cowboys in Dallas, and look to continue their streak of wins at Lambeau against the number one seeded Packers. If they are going to pull off another upset, they will need another stellar game out of Deebo Samuel. In Dallas the wide receiver/running back only caught three passes for 38 yards but rushed ten times for 79 yards and a touchdown. But the Niners will have their hands full at “The Frozen Tundra” on Sunday. MVP front runner Aaron Rodgers has been impeccable this season, throwing for over 4,000 yards with 37 touchdowns to only four interceptions.
But before the Green Bay/Forty-Niner game, we start off in the AFC with the other one seed Tennessee Titans hosting the Cincinnati Bengals, who are coming off their first playoff win in decades. Joe Burrow had a respectable game throwing for 244 yards and two touchdowns. LSU teammate Ja’Marr Chase was the apple of Burrow’s eye against the Raiders, catching nine of 12 targets for 116 yards. A duo that will be needed against this tough Titans defense, who have stopped the run allowing a measly 85 rush yards per game, and forced opponents to beat them threw the air. Tennessee’s battering-ram Derrick Henry could make his return on Sunday from a foot injury he suffered mid season, and if he is at 100 percent, he could be a huge problem for Cincinnati. In only eight weeks of the regular season Henry rushed for 937 yards and ten touchdowns. The offense will go through Henry if he suits up this weekend.

Studs We Like:
Quarterbacks:
Joe Burrow ($6,600 DK/$7,700 FD) The Titans allowed 85 yards per game on the ground, so for the 2020 number one pick to pull off the win on the road, he will have to chuck it, and we have all seen how that has panned out, over 1,100 yards and ten touchdowns in his last three games.
Fade:
Ryan Tannehill ($5,800 DK/$7,300 FD) Tennessee has not made it this far on his arm, it’s from the run game. With possibly Derrick Henry returning and possibly getting a lead in the game, Tannehill may be handing the ball off for most of the game if Cincinnati cannot stop the run.
Running Backs:
A.J. Dillon ($5,100 DK/$6,100 FD) Green Bay may be sitting on a lead in the second half of the game, and Dillon is their closer. He is also very capable of catching the ball out of the backfield from Rodgers, as well as punching one in the end zone.
Fade:
Joe Mixon ($6,600 DK/$7,800 FD) Facing the league’s number one ranked rushing defense, we will stay away from Mixon, especially on FanDuel’s hefty price tag.
Wide Receivers:
Davantae Adams ($8,500 DK/$8,700 FD) When you take Rodgers as your QB in DFS, who else to pair him with other than Adams? They are the modern day Batman and Robin of the NFL. Adams will get plenty of volume (12 targets per game) and has performed well in zone coverage for his career, a defense San Fran uses and could be exploited Saturday night.
Tyler Boyd ($4,700 DK/$5,800 FD) Lines up as the Bengals’ slot receiver, where Tennessee has been last in the league at defending against. Boyd will get open looks from Burrow in the middle of the field, and had a great game last week catching a touchdown against the Raiders.
Tight End:
George Kittle ($5,300 DK/$6,400 FD) He’s been quiet on the stat sheet of late, but the Niners will need to throw it as they may be playing from behind on Saturday. Quarteback Jimmy Garoppolo is also nursing a new shoulder injury he picked up in Dallas, so Kittle may benefit from the short passing game possibility.
Value:
Kyle Juszczyk ($4,100 DK/$4,500 FD) The Forty-Niner fullback is always on the field, and coach Kyle Shannohan draws up plays for him to trick the defense. If they do start trailing in the end of the game, Juszczyk will get some check down work too.
Randall Cobb ($3,100 DK/$5,300 FD) Had came out during the week to the media to say he will play. Cobb has been on IR since Week 13, but at min price and a trusted receiver with Rodgers, the veteran slot man is worth a shot in DFS.
Josiah Deguara ($3,000 DK/$4,900 FD) Feel free to pay down at tight end for the Green Bay big fella. In the last game of the regular season, Deguara caught three balls for 66 yards and a touchdown. Although it was a meaningless game for Green Bay, he’s good for three catches a game.
Defense:
Green Bay ($3,200 DK/$4,500 FD) Had been looking good with their subs at the end of the season, and will be at full strength for the post season. Shut down cornerback Jaire Alexander will return from IR to give Jimmy Garoppolo some headaches trying not to get picked off. Oh and yea… below zero degree weather with the windchill is no bueño for California football teams.
