As the playoff action continues, we have another three-game slate to breakdown for tonight. The first thing we need to mention is some of the way these stars being priced right now. It feels like DraftKings has really dropped the ball on their pricing since the regular season ended, as we continue to get ridiculous price tags on some stars. For example, on last nights slate, we had Kawhi Leonard at a ridiculous $8,300. Leonard ended up going for 59.5 FPTS and was a must play. We have a few guys with that kind of potential tonight, as a lot of these studs are being priced as if they are going to play 25 minutes in some irrelevant end-of-season game. As a result, we are going with a balanced lineup here, as we can roster high upside stars without paying more than $8,500.

Here’s a balanced lineup For DFS Basketball 5/26/21 (using DraftKings Values)

Point GuardT. Young $8,500
Shooting GuardD. Rose $5,900
Small ForwardD. Green $4,000
Power ForwardT. Harris $7,000
Center
Guard
Forward $8,800
Utility

Trae Young is one of those mispriced stars we mentioned in the introduction. Going into last game, we talked about how Young was way too cheap at $8,500. We were proven correct as Young casually went for 56.8 FPTS, while play a monster role for the Hawks. It was surprising to see that Young is still $8,500 going into tonight, given this price is too low for his regular season production and way too low for his playoff production. Young averaged 46.2 FPTS per game this season, so it is hard to fathom where this mid $8,000’s price even came from. Furthermore, Young will continue to play massive minutes with usage throughout the playoffs, and we will almost definitely see his price rise. If Young has a decent or better shooting night here, you will need him at this price.

Another guy who we were high on last game and high on again tonight is Derrick Rose. Rose played 37.4 minutes off the bench last game and he went for 32.8 FPTS. Rose is one of top offensive options for the Knicks and we know he is Coach Thibodeau’s favorite guard. Rose saw massive usage last game and he has opportunity for a huge game with the role he is playing for New York. We could see Rose get the start today which could mean even more minutes, but he should be relied on heavily either way. We love the upside on Rose here, and we expect his price to rise throughout the playoffs.

As is usually the case for the playoffs, we have much more enticing plays at the top of the slate then the bottom. As a result, we are more desperate for value plays, and often must rely on any cheap guys who are playing big minutes. Danny Green is the kind of value play that we are looking for, as he should be in for massive minutes and is a little too cheap. Green is priced at $4,000 tonight, which is good for the role he is playing for the playoffs. Green played 31 minutes last game and went for 23.5 FPTS. We just need something stable here so we can pay up for our high upside studs elsewhere, and Green does not need to do much to hit value in this spot.

Our favorite team to get to tonight is going to be the Philadelphia 76ers. Tobias Harris is no exception as he is one of our favorite plays on the slate. Harris has the same $7,000 price tag he ha last game, which absolutely makes no sense. This price is already too cheap for the 37 FPTS that Harris averaged over the season. Harris saw a massive role last game, as he took 29 shot attempts in 37 minutes. Harris went for 51.5 FPTS last game, so it is quite surprising his price has not moved. Harris has fantastic upside, and he is priced for a poor outing here.

Now what do you get if you sign up now?
• More priorities from Philadelphia
• A potential lock play depending on injury news

Taj Gibson – C ($3,300 DK) Nerlens Noel is listed as questionable for tonight, and his status is important for the value on this slate. If Noel is ruled out, Gibson is a lock tonight given the price tag. Gibson would be the only center available in that situation, and the minutes would be there. If Noel is in tonight, he looks good at $4,000 as he has been playing a lot of minutes lately.

Ben Simmons – G ($7,300 DK) Simmons is one of our favorite plays on the entire slate, as he is another guy whose price makes no sense here. Simmons played 38 minutes last game and went for 51.75 FPTS. The Wizards are a fantastic matchup, so we expect to see a few huge games from Simmons and the other Sixers in this series. Simmons averaged 37.4 FPTS per game last season, so it makes no sense how he is priced for tonight. Simmons is priced for a poor performance here, and we are getting a lot of upside for cheap. The Entire 76ers starting five looks good tonight, so we are using them heavily in our lineups. Starting with Simmons, who probably has the best price point out of any of the Philadelphia guys.

Bradley Beal – F ($8,800 DK) We are getting to a lot of the starters for the 76ers tonight, so we are interested in getting one of the Washington studs as we are already betting on this being competitive. Russell Westbrook is still a little overpriced due to the run he went on for the last few months of the regular season. However, we are getting an underpriced Beal here. Beal averaged 46.5 FPTS per game this season, so he should be more expensive here. Furthermore, Beal is playing a huge role in the playoffs and we expect him to put out massive stats. Beal played 41 minutes last game and put up 23 shots. Beal has fantastic upside here, and he fits perfectly into our balanced lineup.

Seth Curry – Util ($4,900 DK) If you are playing tournaments tonight we probably would keep it to a maximum of three Sixers guys, however we are happy playing any amount for Cash games. Curry is a fantastic option as he is giving us some real upside under $5,000. Curry scored 27 FPTS in over 32 minutes last time out, and we expect the floor time to be similar tonight. Curry plays a big scoring role for the sixers and we really like getting some exposure to him.

Here’s a balance lineup For DFS Basketball 5/26/21 (using FanDuel Values)

Point GuardB. Simmons $8,100
Point GuardD. Rose $5,900
Shooting GuardB. Beal $9,500
Shooting GuardS. Curry $4,900
Small ForwardD. Green $4,100
Small ForwardB. Bogdanovic $5,600
Power ForwardT. Harris $7,400
Power ForwardT. Gibson $4,100
CenterJ. Embiid $10,100

Bojan Bogdanovic – PG (5,600 FD) We are a lot less interested in the Jazz tonight with Donnovan Mitchell coming back into the to rotation. However, Bogdanovic is cheap here and we still expect him to put a lot of shots up. Bogdanovic went for 37 FPTS last time out, which is the upside we are looking for tonight.

Joel Embiid – C (10,100 FD) We talked about a lot of the other sixers, but we like Embiid a lot on both sites. He has a ton of upside and the best matchup on the slate against the Wizards. We do not have a lot of superstars today, so Embiid could easily be a must play. Last game we saw Embiid get in some foul trouble and play limited minutes. We expect him to see much more floor time and put out much better production tonight.
