We have fallen into a bit of a pattern here with small slates one day and massive slates the next. We have a 10 game NBA slate to breakdown tonight and this one looks great. We have some amazing value plays we are targeting, but the value on this slate is not so obvious it becomes hard to differentiate. We have gone with a midrange lineup today, as a few of our favorite plays on the slate fall in the $4,000 – $6.000 range. Last night the news broke that Donovan Mitchell will be sitting out for tonight’s contest. In consequence, Utah is our favorite team to target tonight as of now. We are focuses on a few players who should be in for massive usage moving forward from the trade deadline, as we are looking for upside on a slate of this size.

Here’s a midrange lineup For DFS NBA Basketball 3/31/21 (using DraftKings Values)

Point GuardJ. Harden $10,900
Shooting GuardJ. Clarkson $5,500
Small ForwardG. Trent Jr. $5,100
Power Forward  $4,300
Center  $7,700
Guard  $5,800
Forward  $4,600
UtilityT. Haliburton $6,100

As we mentioned in the introduction we are going with a more midrange lineup tonight. However, we still do want to find the salary to spring for James Harden. Harden has been on an absolute tear lately, even by his ridiculous standards. Harden is averaging 67.8 FPTS per game this season and he scored 78.8 FPTS last game. Harden is averaging 58,4 FPTS per game on the season and he should be more expensive then the $10,900 we must pay for him tonight. Harden is facing his former squad in the Houston Rocket’s, and they are a great team to target in DFS. Harden has higher upside then anyone else on the slate by far and we want to bet on him tonight.

The Utah Jazz are our favorite team to roster players from as of now on tonight’s slate. With Mitchell out, there will be a ton of extra usage going around and the minutes should look great for the guards. Jordan Clarkson is an absolute lock in this spot at only $5,500. Clarkson has dominated in the past when one of the starting guards was out for Utah and we expect to see him receive a massive boost. Mitchell plays big minutes and is the teams first option, we expect Clarkson to see around 30 minutes as a top usage option for Utah tonight. Clarkson went for 45 FPTS last time he got the start for an injured guard, and Mitchell being out has always been his ideal situation.

We had Aleksej Pokusevski in this spot, however he was just ruled out. However, we can use the salary to get Gary Trent Jr. Trent has an interesting role with the Raptors and it appears he will be getting massive run moving forward. Trent played 38 minutes and shot the ball 15 times last game, scoring 32.2 FPTS. We expect him to get another great opportunity as the Raptors seem to be dedicated to developing him. He is still cheap at $5,100 and he has a ton of upside in his role for Toronto.

Tyrese Haliburton has been having a phenomenal rookie season, and it has just been getting better as it progresses. Haliburton went for over 40 FPTS last game, and he is still cheap at $6,100. Haliburton has played north of 30 minutes in each of the past five games, and his minutes seem secure at this point. Haliburton fits well into our midrange build, and he gives us some solid upside with a good matchup against San Antonio.

Now what do you get if you sign up now?
• A few midrange studs with fantastic upside
• Our second core play from the Utah Jazz.
• Access to our core FanDuel lineup!

Jaden McDaniel’s – PF (4,300 DK) The minutes have been fantastic for McDaniel’s and we are still getting him at a great price. We do not have a many strong value options under $4,000 tonight, so we are using cheaper midrange plays to create salary. McDaniel’s fits perfectly in our lineup and he has upside for a good game. McDaniel’s has played north of 30 minutes in each of his past three games and it has been trending in the right direction. McDaniel’s played 38 minutes last game and scored 39.25 FPTS. We expect him to continue to see great floor time and looks very solid at this price tag.

Pascal Siakam – C ($7,700 DK) Siakam disappointed those who rostered him last time out, as he fouled out in only 28 minutes. However, we continue to see Siakam at a great price tonight as he has been playing massive minutes at the five lately. Siakam recently played back-to-back games north of 50 FPTS and we know he has upside for the type of performance. At this price, Siakam has hit value in four of the past five games and as we mentioned he fouled out in the fifth. The Raptors have a solid matchup with the Thunder tonight and we expect he should be able to have a bounce back performance.

Mike Conley – G ($5.800 DK) Conley is another smash play for us from the Utah Jazz. Conley should see a massive usage boost with Mitchell off the floor, and this is a great price to roster him at regardless. Conley is averaging 32.1 FPTS per game and this is one of the cheapest price tags we have seen on him for a long time. Conley would be a player we are targeting even if Mitchell were healthy. With Mitchell out, Conley is one of our favorite plays on the slate.

Hamidou Diallo – F ($4,600 DK) Diallo has been seeing an increased role for the Pistons and we expect him to get solid run for them tonight. The Pistons are extremely undermanned and have a small guard rotation right now. Diallo went for 43 FPTS last game and has massive upside going into tonight. Diallo allows us to save some salary, while still getting great upside.

Here’s a midrange lineup For DFS Basketball 3/31/21 (using FanDuel Values)

Point GuardM. Conley $6,000
Point GuardJ. Clarkson $5,000
Shooting GuardJ. Harden $11,500
Shooting GuardT. Haliburton $5,600
Small ForwardK. Porter  $5,500
Small ForwardS. Bey $4,800
Power ForwardP. Siakam $8,300
Power ForwardJ. McDaniel’s $4,600
CenterR. Gobert $8,200

Kevin Porter – SF (5,500 FD) The Rockets have a strange roster coming out of the trade deadline, one thing that is clear is they are committed to developing Porter. Porter has been playing great minutes lately and his price on FanDuel is amazing tonight. Porter has great upside if his shot is falling and can easily smash value at this price point.

Saddiq Bey – SF ($4.800 FD) The rookie has been playing a huge role for the Pistons lately. Bey has been playing north of 30 minutes in almost every game recently and we are getting him at a solid price on FanDuel. Bey has massive upside for a big game with all the usage he gets, and he should be good for solid value at this price.

Rudy Gobert – C ($8.200 FD) Gobert should be in for a solid usage boost with Mitchell out of the lineup tonight. Gober has great upside especially on FanDuel where blocks and steals are worth so much. This price is very fair for Gobert, however if he gets a small boost without Mitchell tonight he should be in for a nice game.

Good luck everyone, keep an eye on the news as always.
