NBA DFS Picks for March 30 2021

We have an ugly four game slate to follow up last nights value behemoth. At first glance it can be hard to find your value options tonight, however we have found some solid opportunities to capitalize. We have constructed a balanced lineup for tonight, as we wanted to highlight some solid plays at every price range. There are some players out tonight, and we are targeting a few players who should be in for the extra run. However, the core value we want to target is the Charlotte Hornets players who look great tonight against the Washington Wizards.

Here’s a balanced lineup For DFS Basketball 3/30/21 (using DraftKings Values)

The Clippers have been running a gutted guard rotation for the past few slates. Terance Mann has seen a minute’s bump with the injured guards, as he has played 29 or more minutes the past three games. Mann is averaging well over 30 FPTS the past three games and his price is still down at $4,700. We do not have a ton of value tonight, and Mann allows us to get some solid upside at a great price. Mann looks great as of now as the Clippers will be a missing a few guards. However, there is a solid chance one of the Clippers stars sits out on the tail end of a back-to-back tonight, which would make Mann a lock for value.

Bradley Beal is listed as questionable for tonight’s game after sitting out last night. We have no idea what Beal is going to do as of now, and there is no way to know until more news is revealed. If Beal is in tonight, he looks like a fantastic option and we are all over him at only $8,900. Beal is leading the league in scoring and is averaging 47.4 FPTS per game this season. He has no business being priced under $9,000. If Beal is out, we want to go right back to Russell Westbrook and can look to Washington for more value.      

We have been targeting the Wizards a lot lately as they are the perfect matchup for DFS. They play at an extremely fast pace, while being terrible in defense and rebounding. Players have been having massive games against Washington lately, and that is what we hope to see out of Gordon Hayward tonight. Hayward is not hard to roster at $7,600 with dual forward eligibility. Hayward has been a bit disappointing the last two slates, however he played around 40 minutes with massive usage in both. With LaMelo Ball out for the foreseeable future, we expect Hayward to get another nice opportunity tonight. With the easiest matchup one can find we are hoping Hayward can capitalize tonight.

Staying on the topic of the Charlotte Hornets, we like taking a shot at Cody Martin at $3,600 tonight. Martin went for 27 FPTS last game and has been getting some decent minutes lately. Like Hayward, Martin will be benefiting from the matchup with the Wizards tonight and we do not a big boost from him when he is so cheap. Martin has played great minutes in some games lately, but it has not been entirely consistent. Still, he would have to be pretty awful to really hurt us in this spot. We have Martin in our utility spot so it will be easy to exchange him if better value opens later in the day.

Mike Scott – PF (3,300 DK) Joel Embiid remains out and the 76ers cleared out their big rotation at the deadline. Scott has been playing massive minutes the past two slates and we do not see Philadelphia having many other options tonight. Scott has played 28 and 29 minutes in the past two games, averaging 17.5 FPTS with terrible shooting across the two games. Scott is a player we would likely overlook on a bigger slate, however tonight we are all over him at nearly minimum price.

Nikola Jokic – C ($10,500 DK) Jokic is our favorite play on the slate as of now regardless of his price. This is still way too cheap for Jokic as he is averaging just shy of 60 FPTS per game this season. Jokic was somewhat disappointing last time out and still gave us 48.5 FPTS. That one blew out and the Joker only played 28 minutes, we expect a bigger game from him tonight. The Sixer’s are a great matchup without Embiid, and it does not make sense that Jokic is not the most expensive player on tonight’s slate. 

Terry Rozier – G ($7.700 DK) As we mentioned we love getting to the Hornets tonight and Rozier has some amazing upside. This is not a great price to pay for Rozier, but with this perfect matchup he is still cheap for the role he should play. Rozier should have to do more offensively without Ball and with the matchup against Washington tonight, he has upside to be one of the best plays on the slate.

Deni Avdija – F ($3,700 DK) We went to Avdija yesterday for a cheap punt option and it is a similar situation here tonight. Avdija scored 24.5 FPTS last game and that would be more then enough to make him an incredible value option tonight. The minutes have been great for Avdija lately, and we expect they continue to trend in the right direction as the other forward options for Washington right now leave a lot to be desired. If Beal ends up out, then Avdija looks even better as a budget play.

Ben Simmons – PG (7,900 FD) Simmons is a completely different play across the two sites as we get him at $800 cheaper on FanDuel. Simmons has showed some increased upside without Embiid and this is a solid tag to roster him at in any case. Simmons can be hard to predict in DFS, but he has a higher floor without Embiid. This is about as cheap as it gets for Simmons so this will be a nice chance for us to buy him low.

P.J. Washington – PF ($5.600 FD) We are all over this matchup with the Wizards for tonight; s slate. Washington is a bit too expensive for us to get to on DK, but he looks great over on FanDuel. Washington has scored over 30 in two of his last four outings, was expect him to be in for a good game with this matchup. We want as many Hornets guys as we can get, and Washington perfectly fits our balanced lineup.
