NBA DFS Picks for March 21 2021

We have six games to breakdown tonight and this is an interesting NBA slate. The first thing to take into consideration here is that Lebron James and Anthony Davis are both injured, so we can look to the Lakers for all the value we need tonight. Furthermore, we have a game between the Washington Wizards and Brooklyn Nets. The Vegas over-under for the game is around 245 and some of our favorite Superstars will be taking the court. We are going with a stars and scrubs lineup tonight, as we have a nice combination of Value plays and high-end Superstars.

The Nets-Wizards game projects to be the highest scoring match of the night by far. James Hardenis our favorite spend up option on the slate tonight, as he should be in for a massive game. Vegas projects that Brooklyn scores just shy of 130 tonight, which means Harden should be getting a ton of points and assists. Harden is $10,900, but he is averaging over 60 FPTS across the past ten days. Washington have been the best DFS matchup in the league lately and it is hard to get away from Harden’s upside.

The Lakers are absolutely gutted tonight, with both of there two superstars sidelined. There will be a ton of extra minutes tonight as two guys who easily play over 30 minutes are out. Alex Caruso is priced at $3,300 tonight and he should be able to crush value if he gets a little boost. Caruso is averaging 15.2 FPTS per game, but it is fair to expect he does a little more without James or Davis on the floor.  If Caruso gets any boost tonight, he will look like a great value play.

With all the value on the Lakers it is hard to look anywhere else for cheap value. Talen Horton-Tucker has some crazy upside as there is going to be a ton of extra usage for the Lakers. Horton-Tucker is averaging 23.5 FPTS over the past ten days which is mediocre for his $4,200 price tag. However, tonight he is one of our favorite value options on the slate. Horton-Tucker has some decent offense and ability to create his own shots. If he gets hot tonight, he could have a game that he is totally not priced for.

We have the chance to get Lauri Markkanen at a nice discount tonight. He is only $5,500, which is much cheaper than we usually see him. The Bulls have a great matchup against the Pistons tonight and Markkanen is looking healthy.  Markkanen has some really nice upside, and the floor is not bad at this price. Markkanen fits into a forward spot that we find weak tonight.

Montrezl Harrell – C (6,500 DK) Someone is going to have a big game for the Lakers, even with the tough matchup. Harrell has been a great producer since Davis has been out and has even more upside with James also sidelined. Harrell is averaging over 35 FPTS across the past ten days and scored 40.8 FPTS last game. Harrell is too cheap for his recent production on DraftKings, which helps with his inconsistency. The Phoenix frontcourt has given up huge games to centers in the past and we could see something massive from Harrell tonight. 

Bradley Beal – G ($9,300 DK) Beal has been cheap on DraftKings lately and that trend continues tonight. Beal is averaging 49 FPTS per game this season and has the great matchup against Brooklyn. We want one of the Washington Stars on this slate and it is going to be very hard to fit Russell Westbrook along with Harden. This is expected to be a scoring expedition and Beal is the leagues leading scorer. He has massive upside here and is not quite as expensive as he should be.

OG Anunoby – F ($5,300 DK) Anunoby just came back from a six-game absence last game. However, he looked good as he was able to play over 34 minutes and produce 34.3 FPTS. Anunoby is averaging 28.7 FPTS per season and we know he is closer to $6,000 when playing full minutes. We expect Anunoby to be able to see massive floor time tonight, as it appears he sat out until he was 100 percent. This is a great chance to buy low on Anunoby, and he fits easily into different builds.

Danny Green – Util ($4,800 DK) Ben Simmons is questionable tonight and a couple plays look great on the Sixers if he is out. Green saw massive minutes last game and chucked a ton of threes. He is a little too cheap if Simmons is out again. Shake Milton saw a massive role without Simmons last game and has great upside if he is out again today. We will have to track the news tonight as all the Philadelphia plays look a lot stronger if Simmons gets ruled out.

Kyrie Irving – PG ($9,100 FD) $9,100 is a little cheap for Irving and Harden is more expensive on FanDuel then DraftKings. Irving has great scoring upside, and this game is supposed to be a shootout. Irving has some of the best upside on tonight’s slate and is a lot cheaper than other high-end plays. Irving scored over 56 FPTS last game and has showed that upside in his scoring role for Brooklyn.

Dennis Schroeder – PG ($6,100 FD) Schroeder has some massive upside with all the injuries for the Lakers. Schroeder is one of the only guys who will be able to create his own shot and we should see him take a ton of shots tonight. Schroeder is too cheap on FD and is one of our favorite plays to get to. He is a solid play at his $6,900 price on DraftKings but is a core guard for us on FanDuel.

Tobias Harris – PF ($8,300 FD) It makes no sense that Harris has not been priced up after completely breaking the slate last game. Harris went for over 60 FPTS and he will be a smash play if Simmons is still out. Harris solid at this price even if Simmons is in as he should be taking a lot of shots regardless.
