Tonight’s NBA slate looks great. There is a lot of value across four games, but it is not as much of a dart throw as a bigger slate like yesterdays. A few teams are playing back-to-back, and we just saw them last night. Most Notably the Warriors, who are once again playing without Steph Curry. We saw who Coach Kerr gave the lions share of Curry’s minutes to last night, so we have some smash plays. There are a surprising number of teams we love targeting for such a small late, and we will breakdown some of our favorite value picks on both sites. We went with a stars and scrubs lineup today, to combine the value with some superstar option. As of yesterday, we will be providing lineup support on Both DraftKings and FanDuel for our premium subscribers.
Here’s a stars and scrubs lineup For DFS Basketball 3/20/21 (using DraftKings Values)
Point Guard | $5,200 | ||
Shooting Guard | J. Poole | $5,100
Small Forward | A. Wiggins | $6,300
Power Forward | G. Antetokounmpo | $11,100
Center | B. Biyombo | $3,300
Guard | $6,500 | ||
Forward | $3,400 | ||
Utility | $9,100 | ||
Jordan Poole Started for the Warriors last game and saw a massive minute’s boost. Poole played over 34 minutes last game and shot the ball 15 times. He scored 34 FPTS and is the same price tonight at $5,100. Poole should get the start again tonight and at this price it is fair to expect another good performance. Poole may not shoot quite as well, but he should still give us solid value regardless.
We mentioned yesterday that Andrew Wiggins had the upside to be the best play on the slate, and that is exactly what he was. Wiggins gave us 66 FPTS at a relatively cheap price. He has been slightly priced up to $6,300 today but still looks great with Curry out. Wiggins shot the ball 24 times last night and saw massive minutes. He will likely not have as good a game as yesterday, but he should be able to crush this price point easily again.
Giannis Antetokounmpo stands a cut above the rest of the slate tonight. With the a few of the other top guys injured, Antetokounmpo produces at a rate that is marginally higher then anyone else available on the slate. With a solid amount of value available Antetokounmpo will be popular and may be a must play tonight. Antetokounmpo is averaging a staggering 65.8 FPTS a game over the last ten days, which is great even for his $11,100 price tag.
Cody Zeller has been ruled out today and we are looking at Bismack Biyombo for value. Biyombo is only $3,300 tonight and looks like a great budget play. Biyombo is averaging 16.7 FPTS per game on the season, and we just need a small boost tonight for him to be a strong play. With Zeller out, Biyombo should see more run and be able to give us the performance we need.

Shake Milton – PG (5,200 DK) Joel Embiid and Seth Curry are both out for today and the 76ers are facing off against the fast paced Sacramento Kings. Milton is in a fantastic spot as he should be in for much more minutes and should be a bigger part of the teams offense then usual. Milton has some great upside with the injuries and the easy matchup pushes him over the top.
Jrue Holiday – G ($6,500 DK) Holiday is clearly back to full health at this point, which means he is a little too cheap on both sites. Holiday went off for 40 FPTS last game and we know that is not an unreasonable performance for him. The Bucks have a solid matchup with the Spurs tonight and Holiday could go for another big game. Holiday will likely be priced up a bit more to where he was pre-injury very soon. This may be one of our last chances to buy him low.
Damion Lee – F ($3,400 DK) Lee absolutely crushed last game and went for over 35 FPTS. At this price, that kind of performance would make Lee one of the best plays on the slate. Lee saw a nice minute’s boost without Curry last game and is still near the minimum price. Lee should be good for another solid game, with upside for another great performance.
Ben Simmons – Util ($9,100 DK) This price is a bit much for Simmons, but he is in the perfect position for DFS. Embiid is out tonight and everything on the floor should run through Simmons. Add in a matchup with the Kings, who allow more points than any other squad in the NBA. Simmons has been his best in pace up spots and this has the potential to be one of his best nights. Simmons played 45 minutes last game and he is the young durable type of star who can hit that kind of floor time when needed. With all the injuries, there is no real ceiling on what Simmons can do tonight.
Here’s a balanced lineup For DFS Basketball 3/20/21 (using FanDuel Values)
Point Guard | B. Simmons | $8,500
Point Guard | J. Poole | $4,600
Shooting Guard | A. Wiggins | $5,200
Shooting Guard | D. Lee | $3,500
Small Forward | K. Leonard | $9,300
Small Forward | K. Johnson | $4,800
Power Forward | G. Antetokounmpo | $11,400
Power Forward | T. Harris | $8,300
Center | B. Biyombo | $3,600 |
Kawhi Leonard – SF ($9,300 FD) There is a ton of value on this slate, even more so on FanDuel then DraftKings. In consequence we have no issue paying up and Leonard might be overlooked tonight. He has a great matchup against the Hornets and is pretty cheap for his superstar upside.
Keldon Johnson – SF ($4,800 FD) Johnson absolutely broke the slate yesterday with over 58 FPTS. He played 40 minutes last night and dominated on the glass. If Johnson is going to play 40 minutes or close to that, he is one of the best plays on the slate at this price. However, there is always risk here as the Spurs rotation has been so confusing as of late.
Tobias Harris – PF ($8,300 FD) Harris is a little too expensive for us on DK, but he looks great over on FanDuel. He should be in for a massive game tonight with all the injured Sixers and the dream matchup. The Kings have terrible forwards defensively and Harris can be in for a monster night. Harris will be the first scoring option tonight and has all the upside that comes with that.
Good luck tonight, we hope your brackets have not been busted too early!
